I couldn't get up. Every single thing that had happened in my life seemed stupid, ironic. The reason my life was the way it was is because Hook dealt with magic. I ran away because of that. And now I had magic. The reason my life stunk was magic. How could this happen? How couldn't I know? I had been mad so many times in my life, why had it just now happened?
I could not think about what to do, where to go, I just need to think. But I couldn't. Too much happened. I was in shock, I couldn't understand what had happened. When would it happen again? I had to stay...unemotional, I guess.
If there was one thing I knew, I couldn't just stay here. I was not in a good position to protect myself. Except for the fact if I got mad enough I could apparently choke the life out of someone. I got up. The last thing on my list was to go back to Pan's camp. Pan had taken his shot at me, which means his plan with Henry would be accelerated. I had to find the heroes.
•••••••••••••••
It didn't take long to find them all. They were near the shore, and everyone had their swords out pointed at Rumpelstiltskin, who was back in his normal, crocodile skin clothing.
"It's a party," I said as I walked up to the group from behind. "That is obviously not going to end well."
"Ashton."
"Neal?" I hugged him. "Wait, didn't you-"
"It's a long story," he said. "I'll tell you when we have time."
I nodded. I tried to calm down my nerves. I was still shaking from my magical experience. Quite literally.
"Where's Henry?"
"Not in the camp I'm going to assume. I think Pan has sped up his plan, whatever the plan is."
"We need to get going," Emma agreed.
We walked through the forest, everyone following Tink, a fairy who used to help Pan before I was here originally, and I. We both knew where the camp was, and we needed to get there quickly.
"We're here," Tink turned to everyone. "Pan's perimeter."
"It's time," Emma said. "Tink will sneak us in the back like we planned. We grab Henry. In and out. Simple. You good with Pan patrol?" Emma asked, turning to Neal.
"Locked and loaded," he replied.
"You mind if I, uh, borrow this?" Rumpelstiltskin asked, pulling out Hook's sword from his side. "You said no magic, I agreed. But I'm not walking in there with nothing but my good looks."
"I," Hook said, "on the other hand-"
"Here," David said and tossed Hook a sword. "In case your good looks fails you."
"Thanks, mate."
"Let's get Henry," Emma said.
Everyone surrounded the perimeter of the camp. The Lost Boys were on the inside, laughing and talking. I noticed that Devin wasn't there.
Regina got ready to wave her hand to use magic on the boys. I shuddered thinking of my own dilemma.
"Ashton," a sharp voice said from behind me.
"Devin," I whispered harshly. "What the bloody hell are you doing here?"
"Who is this?" Hook asked pointedly.
"We don't have time for this right now," I replied. "What are you doing here Devin?"
"What am I doing? What are you doing?"
"I'm helping them get Henry out."
"Ash, you're going to make things worse."
"Devin, do you really want to stay here on Neverland your whole life? If we can get Henry out, we can go home. Everyone. All of the Lost Boys too. They can all have a proper home. Don't you want that?"
He nodded. "Just because I do, doesn't mean everyone will."
"But we can give them a choice. Are you in?"
"Alright."
I nodded at Regina and she used magic to make the Lost Boys fall down simultaneously.
"Where's Pan?" David asked.
"I don't know," Tink replied.
"Henry? Henry?!" Emma shouted.
"He's gotta be somewhere," David said.
"Where?" Mary Margaret asked.
There was a girl's voice over to the left side of the camp.
"Help!" It cried out.
Emma rushed to the sound. There was a wooden cage on the ground and inside was a teenage girl.
"You're an...adult," she said, surprised.
"Yeah. My names Emma. I'm looking for my son."
Neal came into the picture. "Wendy?"
"Do I know you?" Wendy asked.
"It's Baelfire," he said, smiling.
"You two know each other?" Emma asked.
"Bae?" Wendy gasped.
"Yeah," Neal said. "Yeah, we do."
Neal used a rock to hit the lock on the cage until it broke. Wendy came out and hugged him tightly.
"I thought I would never see you again," she said.
"What are you...what are you doing here?" Neal asked her.
"Well, I came back to save you," Wendy stammered.
"You did that for me?" Neal asked.
"Well, I couldn't bear for you to be without a family. Not after you told us that your mother and father were both dead."
"You told her I was dead?" Gold asked from behind us.
"It's easier than telling the truth. My own father abandoned me."
••••••••••
We were back inside the actual camp, standing next to the fire. Wendy had a blanket wrapped around her.
"Hey, Wendy," Neal said. "Since you've been here, have you seen my son? His names Henry."
"You have a son?" She asked.
"Yeah. Pan needs his heart."
"Has Pan said anything to you about where he might be taking him?"
"No," Wendy replied quickly. "I'm sorry. He never mentioned anything about a heart."
"She's lying," Gold cut in, walking towards her. "Where is he?"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa," David stopped Gold. "What the hell are you doing?"
"I've carried enough lies in my time to recognize the burden," Gold said. "She knows where Henry is."
"Is that true?" Neal asked Wendy.
"You don't understand," She replied to him.
"You're helping Pan?" Mary Margaret asked, confusion in her voice.
"He's keeping John and Michael alive. Only if I do what he says."
"Trust me," Gold told her. "Whatever he's promised, he will go back on his word."
"And why should I trust a man who abandoned his own son?" Wendy retaliated.
"Because your brothers did," Regina said. "They trusted a woman named Belle. They helped her get this box so we can defeat Pan."
"They're okay?" Wendy asked.
"For now," Gold said harshly. "And only if we succeed."
"Wendy," Neal said softly, "we will save John and Michael, I swear to God. But right now, I really need your help. Please."
"Pan told Henry that he needs his heart to save magic," Wendy sighed. "It's a lie. He needs it to save himself."
"What do you mean?" Hook asked.
"Pans dying. And he needs the heart of the truest believer to absorb all of the magic in Neverland. And once he does, he will be immortal, all powerful."
"And what happens to Henry?" I asked.
"Well, it's a trade. When Pan lives, Henry will die."
"How do we stop Pan?" David asked.
"Pan took Henry to Skull Rock. But you haven't got much time."
"Then we stay behind," David said to Mary Margaret. "Someone needs to be here to guard the Lost Boys when they wake up."
"You don't need to stay behind," Emma told them.
"David's right," Mary Margaret assured Emma. "If you get him home, tell him we love him."
"Tell him yourself," Emma said. "When you get back from Dead Man's Peak. Gold can cure you back in Storybrooke. We just need to bring some of the water with us."
Mary Margaret hugged Emma.
She laughed lightly and smiled,
"You didn't give up. Thank you."
"Well, apparently that's the only thanks I need these days." Gold replied sarcastically.
"Tink and I'll take care of things here and meet you back at the Jolly Roger when you find Henry."
"Promise me if your father and I don't make it back, you'll get him home," Mary Margaret said to Emma.
"We're all going back home," Emma said. "Together."Okay, so I'm on vacation right now for New Years. I will be updating every day until Friday (starting today which is Tuesday for me) and than after that I don't know what or how long updates will be between each. The reason the next couple days each one will have a new update is because I have already written them, but I will publish one each every day. Thanks for reading babes! Let me know what you think in the comments :- )
