Back at the police station, Elsa was showing Emma, Hook, and I what she had found out about the Snow Queen.
"The Snow Queen is your aunt?" Emma asks, confused.
"According to this heraldry book I found in the library. Her name is Ingrid. I didn't even know my mother had any sisters. I'm as surprised as you are."
"Well, spend a little more time in this town, love, and you'll realize just about everyone's related," Hook says, bringing in more files. Emma smiles at him.
"This book traces the lineage in Arendelle for generations," Elsa continues. "That's Gerda, my mother. And this is Helga, my other aunt."
"Bloody hell," Hook says. "Look at this one--she looks just like you." It was true. Emma and Helga have many similar qualities.
"Maybe that's why she was so obsessed with you," I tell Emma.
"And why she kept all those relics from your childhood," Hook finishes.
"She came to this world looking for blondes?" asks Emma. "There's a lot more than just me."
"Don't I know it," Hook says quietly and Emma looks at him.
Elsa sighs, "She wasn't looking for a blonde. She was looking for the savior."
"What?" Emma asks.
"This scroll-" Elsa holds out the piece of paper with hieroglyph looking characters on it. "-the writing is runic. It's a prophecy. It says, 'The name of the savior is Emma.'"
"She knew?" Emma seems freaked.
"Before you even did," Elsa says. "She knew you were powerful."
"But why?" asks Emma.
"It says it right here," Elsa tells us. "...'And the savior shall become Ingrid's sister.'"
"What the hell does that mean?" Emma says.
"Well, my mother died, and her other sister, she's not around anymore...I think Ingrid believes in this prophecy. I think she's looking to replace them."
The door opens and Belle runs in. "Elsa..."
"Yes," Elsa smiles politely at Belle.
"I--I'm sorry," Belle stutters. "I am so, so sorry, but..."
"What?" Elsa keeps a nice tone.
"...I've been keeping a secret," Belle tells her. "I know your sister, Anna. She helped me once. But when I had a chance to help her, I let her down. And because I did, she was captured by the Snow Queen."
"What?!" Elsa exclaims. "Where did this happen? When?"
"Arendelle...a long, long time ago," Belle says. "And I have no idea where she is now. But, uh, I'm afraid we have a more pressing concern. The Snow Queen has a mirror imbued with terrible magic that can do terrible things."
"Mirror?" Hook asks. "Easy enough, let's just go smash it."
"It's not that simple," Belle explains. "Rumple told me it's part of an awful spell--the spell of shattered sight. If she casts it, its magic will make everyone in Storybrooke turn on one another."
"Bloody hell," Hook mutters. "The entire town will destroy itself."
"And there'd be no one left," Belle says.
"Except us," Emma nods at Elsa.
"What makes you think that she'd spare you and Elsa?" Belle asks.
"Because of this," Emma sighs, showing Belle the parchment.
"She wants it to be just the three of us," Elsa says.
"Her perfect family," Emma sums up.

Later, Belle dropped off a book with a spell she thought might work against the Snow Queen. She did not come inside to help, because we all agreed it would be a hostile environment after she kept such a big secret from Elsa for all this time. Emma handed Elsa the book.
"Belle brought it," Emma tells Elsa. "It may be able to work against the Snow Queen."
"You don't mean kill her, do you?" Elsa asks.
"No, no one's killing anyone," Emma assures her. "It's just--neutralize her powers. Maybe."
"Can you read this?" Elsa asks.
"Elvish?" Emma says. "No, I didn't even see Lord of the Rings."
Elsa looks confused.
"Nevermind," Emma says. "Belle translated it. It tells us how to enact the spell."
"'With both hands, hold the candle and then use your magic to light it and then when you blow on it--'"
"Then bam, she's right back to selling ice cream," I say. "My guess is business will be down."
"Maybe without her powers we can talk to her," Elsa says. "We can find Anna. We can get some real answers."
"Does your sister have magic?" Emma asks Elsa.
"No, and I think that's why the Snow Queen is so interested in you," Elsa replies.
"Yeah," Emma says.
"Does anyone in your family have magic?" asks Elsa.
"No," Emma tells her.
"It's hard when they look at you differently, isn't it?"
"They don't," Emma smiles at her.
"You're lucky," Elsa attempts to return the smile. "Okay. Should we try this?"
Emma holds up the candle and the wick ignites. Emma blows on the fire and it goes towards Elsa, but fizzles out before fully working.
"Should we try again?" asks Elsa.
"Later," Emma says. "I have to meet Mary Margaret. I'm supposed to babysit tonight."
"Life goes on," Elsa says.
"We'll find her," Emma reassures Elsa.
"It's okay, go," Elsa says. "I'll be here."

At the clock tower, we found the Snow Queen's mirror. Emma had captured the Snow Queen, and she was currently being questioned by Emma in the sheriff's station.
"This is what we've been worried about?" Hook questions as he looks at the plain mirror. "Shouldn't it be shaking or doing something evil?"
"Agreed," Elsa says, looking at the back. "It feels like just a harmless looking glass to me."
"I've found nothing to counteract the spell yet," Belle says as she comes up the clock tower stairs and approaches the mirror. "Hey, stop!" She yells. "Do not  look into that thing! It'll make you see the worst in yourself."
"It must be broken," Hook says. "I've been staring at it all day, and I think I'm even more devilishly handsome and charming than usual."
Belle approaches the mirror cautiously and looks in. "Th-this isn't the same mirror," she says.
"Why would the Snow Queen risk coming all the way out here to plant a fake mirror?" Elsa asks.
"Because she wanted to get caught," David says, and we head quickly towards the sheriff's station, where Emma and the Snow Queen are together.
