Out of Control

The station's doors are frozen where we can not get them open.
"Emma! Emma!" David yells.
All of a sudden, a loud bang sounds and debris fly out from the back wall of the station. Emma emerges, shaking, looking nervously at her hands.
"Emma!" David runs towards her.
"We were so worried!" Mary Margaret adds, also moving quickly towards Emma.
"Wait!" Emma exclaims, stopping them from touching her.
"Swan, what did that monster do to the sheriff's station?" asks Hook.
"The 'monster' who did this was not the Snow Queen. It was me," Emma says, holding her hands out to stop anyone from coming closer.
"What?" says David.
"Just keep your distance," Emma says. "I don't know if I can control myself. I don't want to hurt anyone."
"Swan," Hook says as Emma turns around to leave.
"We should heed her words," Rumpelstiltskin says.
"Emma, we can help," Elsa tries.
"Just stay away!" Emma says, but Hook grabs her wrist in an attempt to comfort her. "Let me go!" Emma's scream causes sparks to fly around as her magic hits the lampposts, and one begins falling towards Hook. David pushes Hook out of the way, and he is instead the victim.
"David!" Mary Margaret exclaims, and Emma runs over to get the lamppost off of him before stopping herself. Instead, Mary Margaret helps David up off the ground. "Emma!" She says, scolding. Emma looks, horrified, at her mother. "Emma..." Mary Margaret says more softly, realizing. "Emma, wait." Emma begins to run as fast as she can.
"Swan!" Hook calls after her.
"Emma!" I call.
"Emma, come back!" Mary Margaret calls.
"Mom!" Henry calls.
She does not turn back as she gets in her car and drives away.

Back at Mary Margaret and David's apartment, Mary Margaret is putting baby Neal down to bed when we come in.
"Did you find her?" She asks.
"No," David replies, beaten. "We looked everywhere, which means only one thing."
"She doesn't want to be found," Hook finishes, sadly.
"I've been through this," Elsa says. "And I saw the same looks on my loved ones' faces as Emma just did. I saw fear."
"David, we failed today," Mary Margaret sighs. "When our daughter needed us most, she looked in our eyes, and...all she saw was fear. This Snow Queen has some mirror that turns us against each other? Well, she doesn't need it. Look at us. We are doing it to ourselves."
"Let's go back out," I say. " It doesn't matter whether or not she wants to be alone. We need to help Emma."

We literally stayed out the entire night searching for Emma. Only Mary Margaret did not, for baby Neal could not be left alone and Belle could only babysit for parts of the night.
"You'd think a big yellow driving machine would be easier to find," Elsa says.
"Perhaps she doesn't want to be found," Hook says. "Since, you know, that's what she bloody told us."
"Well, the good news is thanks to the ice wall, Emma can't leave town," says David.
"The longer she isolates herself, the worse it'll get," sighs Elsa. "Her magic will just keep spiraling."
"Elsa's right," Mary Margaret says. "This was a bad idea coming home. We should still be out there searching."
"Hey," David puts his hands on Mary Margaret's shoulders. "This isn't your fault. It isn't. We'll find Emma, but we've been searching all night. Everyone's exhausted, yourself included. So we refuel, we regroup. And we go out, and we find our daughter, okay?"
"Okay," Mary Margaret replies as the door opens.
"You don't have to look anymore," Henry says, walking in with the saddest look on his face.
"Henry," David says, confused.
"We thought you were asleep upstairs!" Mary Margaret exclaims. "We told you to stay here."
"What happened?" asks David.
"I snuck out, okay?" Henry says. "I'm sorry, but I found her."
"How is she?" Mary Margaret asks immediately, being followed by David's questions of,
"Is she okay? Is she hurt?"
"She's out in the woods," Henry answers. "I thought I could help calm her down, but when I showed up, it just made things worse."
"Come with me," Mary Margaret says softly. "I'll clean you up in the bathroom." Henry has scrapes on his face.
"This is bad news," David says. "If anyone can calm her down, it's Henry."
"When your powers are out of control," Elsa tells us. "Everything's upside down. You don't want to be anywhere near the people you care about."
"Wonderful," Hook says sarcastically. "Well, shall we send Sneezy after her, then? Or happy? Which is the dwarf she despises?"
Elsa continues, "I was so scared that I would hurt Anna until I finally realized you can't run away from the people who love you because, in the end, they're the only ones who can help you."
"Let's get some rest," David says. "Everyone go home and sleep, recharge." But no one leaves. We all just stay in the room, silently, until Mary Margaret comes back out with Henry and asks Elsa to take him upstairs. She comes back down a few minutes later.
"How is he?" Mary Margaret asks.
"I gave him enough ice for the week," Elsa attempts to smile. "It should help with the swelling."
Henry suffered multiple bruises on his arms besides the cuts on his face from his encounter with Emma. All by accident, of course.
"No," Mary Margaret says softly. "How is he?"
"Upset," Elsa sighs. "I just wanted him to understand that Emma's magic is tied to her emotions, like mine. The reason she hurt him is because she was trying so hard not to hurt him. It sounds very convoluted when I try to explain it now."
"No, no," Mary Margaret assures her. "Um...it makes perfect sense."
Regina barges in.
"Where's Henry?" she asks immediately. "Is he okay?"
"He's fine," David assures her. "He's upstairs. We've been trying to call you all night."
"Well, I'm sorry if I don't respond to your every summons," she snaps. "Though I did bring that locator potion you wanted." She slams it down on the counter. "Maybe next time, try leading with 'thank you.' Now, may I see my son, please?"
"You might want to finish buttoning your shirt first," Mary Margaret whispers.
"Oh, well, I was in a rush to get here," Regina says, composing herself.
Regina goes upstairs to the loft and Elsa picks up the bottle off the counter.
"A locator potion," she says. "How does this work, exactly?"
"We just pour it over anything that belonged to Emma-something..." David looks around before focusing on her red scarf. "Something like this."
Mary Margaret's cell phone rings and she gasps, "It's her!"
"Hey, mom, it's me," We hear Emma's voice as Mary Margaret puts her on speaker phone. "Did Henry come home?"
"Oh, yes, yes," Mary Margaret says. "No, he's fine. Emma, I am so sorry about what happened yesterday. I don't want you to every think that we are afraid of you."
"Don't worry," Emma says. "It doesn't matter."
"No, of course it matters," Mary Margaret says.
"This is all gonna be over soon," Emma tells her. "I just needed to tell you that I'm okay. I-I have a way to fix everything."
Mary Margaret pauses and then looks worried.
"Emma, no, wait!" She says, but Emma has hung up.
"What did she say?" David asks, not hearing the last part because Emma had said it quietly.
"She said she's going to get rid of her magic..." Mary Margaret tells us. "...Forever."
"How is that even possible?" asks Elsa.
"She said she can't wait to be home for a cocoa with cinnamon," Mary Margaret looks awestruck.
"Did she say anything about the method?" Hook asks. "If it was a spell or... a magic object of some kind?"
"Does it matter?" asks David.
"No, of course not," Hook says.
"How could she possibly get rid of her magic?" David asks. "That doesn't make any sense."
I realized. "I'll be back later," I say, and exit before anyone can question my motives. Unfortunately, Hook follows me out and catches up at the bottom of the complex.
"What's up?" He asks. "I know that face, you know something. What is Emma doing?"
"She must've talked to Gold," I tell him.
"Oh, bloody hell," he says. "She wouldn't trust the crocodile."
"She's in a trap," I say. "He knows there is no way to permanently destroy magic. He's told me that before. Which means whatever he is planning to do with Emma, it's not good."
"We have to find her," says Hook. "Now."

Looks like Ashton might've slipped up saying something ...
