"Victoria this is gonna sound shocking, but its all true and I already have permission from your parents to tell you," Jaime started.
"Don't tell me, my parents promised me to you and I have to marry you," I laughed.
"No, Leslie," he stopped.
"Leslie?? My name is Victoria Pimentel." I stated.
"Okay I'm just gonna start from the beginning. So do you remember the time we got lost?" I nodded.
"So, the day our parents found us you were already hallucinating and your parents were really upset. There was this family who couldn't have anymore children and they wanted a big family. They were at the hospital that day, and your mom wouldn't stop screaming at yo-" I interrupted.
"But my parents are really nice, they wouldn't be upset they would be relieved to find me!" I answered confused.
"Let me finish, I promise you will understand when I finish. Okay so your mom was screaming at you and Joel told her to stop. Your mom got so upset she started hitting him. That's when the Cruzer couple was passing by and they hear everything. They went into the room and told your mom to stop, they explained their situation or the reason this upsetted them so much an-"
"My parents are the Cruzer's." I stated.
"Victoria, let me finish." Pleaded Jaime. "Your mother told them that is they cared so much they could have you and your brother. The Cruzers agreed, and they meant to tell you all the truth, but when you woke up you didn't even remember your name."
"So they are not my parents," I sobbed. "How could they lie to me all this years? How could you lie to me?"
"It wasn't my truth to tell. The Cruzers asked me to start calling you Victoria and well they had to explain why, and they begged me not to tell you." Finished Jaime.
"So what's my name? Who are my parents? Is Karla my sister? Why did you tell me this know?" I asked.
"Leslie, I have no idea, no and I finally got permission from the Cruzers" answered Jaime.
"So I'm Leslie Pimentel? I have one brother Joel Pimentel. And I have no clue who my parents are." I laughed. "This has to be a nightmare, please pinch me so I can wake up." I pinched my arm until I couldn't feel the skin anymore, and the nightmare didn't seem to end. I was laughing hysterically, I couldn't believe this everything I believed on wasn't true. I could feel my eyes dwelling up with tears. This was way to much for one day. How could my life go from perfect to ruined in seconds. The right choice might not be the one I want to make. I could hurt a lot of people, but did anyone stop to think how hurt I would be when I found out the truth. No, they didn't. If they had told me the truth it would've been easier to just forget my old family and just be part of the new one. But, no they decided it would be best to keep something so important from me.
"Leslie, its okay," said Jaime. "I'm here and I know you must be upset with me. Just please understand it wasn't my secret to tell."
Jaime's eyes started dwelling with tears and soon he was crying uncontrollably. I was trying so hard to stay mad at him, but it was hard when he was crying so adorably. He kneeled down next to me and I hugged him, he might've known but he was right it wasn't his secret to tell. Calum stood on my left shifting uncomfortably. I let go of Jaime and stood up, "I'm going back to El Paso."
