As we were driving towards the Night Lighters Pack, I noticed the many things that looked more recognizable as we drive along. Portland I missed looking at the city lights at night and walking around Pioneer Courthouse Square during the day with friends and well family. I pulled a small locket out and opened it to see a picture of what once used to be my family.

I remember walking around the city with both my family and Dimitri's family. It's hard to believe that Dimitri was once my good friend, Hard to say that he was my first kiss. I even remember that day, I even developed a crush on him but then I managed to push it away when they began to gang up on me since my parents died. Both my brothers blamed me for their death and they even beat me for it or just when they feel angry. But this time I won't take any more of their crap. I am the New and Improved Holly Lovelock.

"Dimitri, Babe are you coming back to bed anytime soon? I am not done with you yet." Lucie said.

I rolled my eyes at her as I walked around the room looking for my red tie and belt. I felt someone wrapping their arms around my waist and I knew that it felt so wrong but I guess it filled the void that has left me since the night of my sixteenth birthday.

"Look Lucie, Today the new pack is coming in today and I got to get everything done before they come here. I just need to run down the main pack house and get a few things straightened out. And then maybe later we can continue where we left off." I smiled down at her as I told her all of this.

Lucie and I are just friends with a few things attached. I met her when I found her roaming around my territory. She needed a place to stay so I offered her a spare room in my apartment. Luckily she hasn't found a mate, But soon I know she will end up finding one, My 'marked' mate has went off with her really mate two days ago which is fine by me.

My father was disappointed in me for letting her go so easily and then finding out she wasn't my really mate. My mother on the other hand wasn't so happy with me.

"Well Mr. Alpha, I guess I will let you get to it. I have my own job to attend to." She said as she walked out of my room.

I smirked, I never get tired of that girl.

As I was walking out I see some of the kids running around playing soccer and then I looked over to the corner of my eye and I see a girl playing with her Barbie. She somehow reminded me of holly. Then I saw two boys around her age come up to her and take the Barbie away from her. That's it.

I walked up to the three kids and look down on them.

"What's going on here?" I asked narrowing my eyes at these boys.

"Nothing Mr. Alpha Sir." The little girl said looking down at her hands.

My heart tightened, I felt bad for this girl. Now I know that these boys must be threatening her.

"Boys." I got down on my knees to look them in the eyes. "It's not nice to pick on this girl. Can you please give her the doll back? Or I will tell your parents about this little encounter."

The boys gave the girl the doll back and walked away.

"Thank you." The girl whispered.

I smiled at her.

"You're welcome. What is your name?" I asked her

"My name is Xara." She smiled up at me.

"Well nice to meet you Xara. If those boys give you any more trouble, Come and get me." I stood up and ruffled her hair a bit.

"Okay Mr. Alpha."

"Call me Dimitri."

I walked away from Xara and smiled at what I did for that little girl. Ever since Holly left, I managed to stop the bullying that's going around at this pack. Alec's and Meredith's family decided to come over one time to help out with our issue, Turns out we learned more about what was really going on within the pack and I knew that we all needed to learn how to respect each member. As for the young ones, well they were a little hard to teach seeing how what just happened it proved that it is going on within the kid community.

As I was walking into my office, my wolf became to stir around in me. Something was wrong but why did it feel so right? I tried to pushing the feeling as I was trying to get things together for the incoming pack but this feeling kept bothering me.

"Hey Dimitri, They are here!" I heard Lucie scream from outside the door.

I rolled my eyes at this girl, I swear she is too lazy to knock on my door and tell me face to that they are here, but no she decides to do it the easy way and yell.

I stood up and straighten myself up. I opened the door and threw a playful glare at Lucie but all she did is smirk. I walked down the hall with my beta along my side and as well with my father. We stood outside as we watched the nice cars pulled up in front of our gates.

The first couple people I see that comes out, must be the Alpha and Luna, and the beta.

"Welcome to our pack Alpha Marcus." I said as I shake his hand.

"Thank you Dimitri. It's nice to be here and thanks for taking us in." He smiled.

"Well anything for the man who is training the teens to fight." I looked at him gratefully.

"Oh no, I am not the one teaching them." He nodded his head towards the hummer.

"Then who is?" I confusingly looked over at him.

"I am."

Suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks. I looked over and see my beautiful mate.

"Hol- Ho- Holly?!" I asked

"Hello Mate." She sneered.

Dear lord! My mate is their pack Warrior?!
