Lux's POV

1 month later

"Hey Lux." Mary says to me as I walk into the kitchen. "Morning Mary. Do you know where Mavis is?" I ask her and she looks at me. "She's with Jared." Mary answers and I nod grabbing a plate and walking to the bench. "Morning mamma." Jason says as he walks into the kitchen. "Lux." He says to me and I look at him. "Jason." I say back and I hear Mary sigh. "When are you two going to get used to each other?" She asks and I laugh. "Never." I say standing up and walking out the front. Lately I have been practicing to use my powers but I still can't control it.

I sit down at he edge of the lake and dangle my get in the cold water. I kick my feet back and forth when I hear someone walking up behind me. "Lux listen I...." I hear Jason start and I grab his wrist and pull him down next to me. "Shhh. Just enjoy the quiet." I say and for once he listens to me. I turn my head to see him looking down into the water. I was about to say something when Mavis comes sprinting outside. "Lux. We need to go. We're under attack." She says and I jump up and. "Mum wants us to leave and not fight. If people find out about you. Who knows what could happen." Mavis states and I look at her shocked. "I can't just stand around doing nothing." I say and Jason puts his hands on my shoulders. "I'll come find you after this is over. I promis." He says and I shake my head tears forming in my eyes. "I won't leave you I...." I was cut short when I felt Jason's lips on mine. It was only a short kiss but man it felt good. "Go Lux. I love you." He says pushing me towards the woods. I shift and run over to Mavis bat. I turn back around when we reach the edge of the forest and look back towards that house. I howl in pain when I see Jason surrounded by wolves. "Lux. We have to go. NOW." Mavis yells at me and I turn around and sprint of behind her low flying bat.

Sprinting through the forest we come across the town that I grew up in. I see Jazz and Kylie walking out of the mall with who I assume are their boyfriends. I shift along with Mavis and we walk over to them. At first they don't see us but when the boys point to us Jazz and Kylie literally squeal and run over to us. "What are you doing here?" Jazz asks me. I look at the boys and than back at Jazz and she nods. "Guys can we have a sec please?" Jazz asks and they nod walking over to their car. "So what is it?" They ask and Mavis and I tell them everything. "We are going to stay at my dads for a while until the hopefully come back." I say and Jazz nods. "Do y want a lift?" She asks us and we nod walking over to her car and hopping into the back. "It's great to see you again Lux." Kylie says and I smile at her. Jazz pulls up in my dads driveway and we step out. "Thanks Jazz." I say and we walk over to the front door. We walk into the house and it takes three seconds before my sister come running over to me. "Lux. There are some creepy people in the living room talking with dad." She says and just as she finishes 5 people with brief cases walk out of the living room. Dad follows behind them but stops when he get to us. He smiles warmly at me and I smile back. "What was that all about?" I ask and he shrugs. "Just the council being the council." He says and I laugh. Walking up stairs with Mavis close beside. I walk into my room and set up the spare bed. As soon as my head hits the pillow. Sleep instantly takes over.

"Lux! WAKE UP!" Someone screams in my ears and I groan. "WHAT!" I snap and she laughs. "Jason, mum and dad are here." Mavis says and I am running down stairs as soon as she says Jason's name. I sprint into the Living room and stop dead in my tracks when I see Jason in front of the fire place. He turns around and looks me dead in the eyes. I start walking over to him and than run threat of the way. Jumping into his arms he puts his head in the crook of my neck breathing in. I pull back and lean my forehead against his smiling. With one hand on my waist he puts another one behind my head. He leans down and brushes his lips over mine before pressing them together. Our lips move in sink for 3 minuets before he pulls away. "I love you Lux. I always have." He says against my neck. I pull back and sit on one of the couches with Jason next to me. "You see. I knew you two would eventually kiss and make up." Mary says and I laugh glaring at her. "Well you did kiss and make up." She says laughing and I couldn't help but laugh with her.

Jason's POV

I'm so happy to see that Lux is safe. After a month of trying to get her to bond with me it has finally happened and I couldn't be happier. Lux and I have been sitting on the couch listening to the radio when I feel her breathing go even. I smile to myself knowing she has fallen asleep. I stand up and pick Lux up and carry her up stairs and to her room. I open the door quietly knowing that Mavis is sharing this room with Lux. When I open the door I quietly laugh when I see Mavis asleep in Jared's arms. Jared looks at me and than at Mavis smiling. I gently lay Lux down on her bed and pull the covers over her. I walk aver to the door and in the corner of my eye I see Jared putting Mavis to bed. I walk out of the door and quietly shut it. "At least you didn't have to wait a month to be able to be near her." I say to Jared and he laughs. "Yes but you don't have to put up with a Royal vampire who thinks she is the boss of you." He says and I look at him with a 'you have know clue' look. "Yes but you don't have to put up with a the werewolf princess who can control whinter." I say trying to hold back a laugh. "I still can't believe that your mate is the ice wolf." He says and I sigh. "Trust me when I say this. Just don't get in a fight with her cause it ends up snowing." I say as we reach the kitchen.

I wake up to something cold hitting my face and the sound of two girls giggling. "Lux I am going to give you 3 seconds to start running before I tip and bucket of boiling hot water over you." I say smile as I hear Lux scream and run off. I jump up and sprint after her. I catch we easily and she turns around and gives me a smile. I glare playfully at her but it soon goes when a snowball hits my face. I look at the ground and see it is covered in snow. I grin and bend down grabbing a hand full of snow and making it into a ball. It throw it at her and her eyes turn white and so does her hair. She grins evilly at me and forms the biggest snow ball I have ever seen. She throws it to me and it hits me fair and square in the chest sending me back wards about 10 metres. "OK kids calm down." I hear my mum say and I hear Lux groan. "Spoilt sport." She says and Mary laughs. "I'm sorry Lux but the last time this happened you froze half the house." Mum says with a smile and Lux's eyes and hair turn back to normal. She slowly walks over to me with a smile on her face. I see a ball of snow behind her and she looks at my mum grinning like a mad person before she throws it at my mums back. "Sorry Mary, but you deserved that." Lux say clearing the snow away and walking into the house. Walking into the house after smiling at my mum I hear Lux scream in terror. I run into the living room and see Lux staring at the largest wolf I have ever seen. It's coat was just like Lux's wolf. Everything about it is the same. But what shocks be the most is that I see it disappear into Lux. "Lux..... Was that you...." I begin but she finishes for me. "My wolf." She says and I stare at her in shock before she falls to the ground unconscious. I have see that wolf before. Than it sunk in. "Lux's wolf is the one and only Lycan. That is how Lux haste ability to control whiter. Every time the Lycan wolf is born it has a different power, this time it chose whinter."
