Nationals

The bus arrived and much like yesterday we all put our game faces on and walked in as a unit.

When we arrived at our dressing room the minute we walked in the door it was chaos. Everyone set up their place with their moms and I couldn't help but feel jealous. My mom used to come to every dance competition I had, and she'd stay in the studio every day. But then she got a job. She hasn't come to a competition in two years now.

I set up my makeup mirror and got to work. As I applied thick foundation, my coach started on my hair. A French twist with curls on top. First it was my solo so I dressed into my pale blue two piece costume and went side stage.

When the music began I just let it take over. I put as much emotion as I could in and I think it went well. When I got back to the dressing room everyone congratulated me. When Abby walked in she hugged me immediately.

Next was my trio which I'm pretty nervous for. I was in a gorgeous lilac costume and the Maddie and Paige were in pale blue and pink.

The music is starting and as long as I remember to point my toes, straighten

my legs and use my face it should be great!

As I walked backstage with the girls I couldn't help but feel good about the last dance. All I had left now was a duet and a group dance. Hopefully my good streak will last.

When we approached the dressing room we could hear arguing. When I saw who it was I didn't know whether to smile or cry. I was about to walk over when the two girls pulled me back. We stayed behind the wall and listened to Chaz and and Abby yell at eachother.

"Why can't I see her!? She's my little sister, I need to wish her luck!"

"No way am I letting you see her! She has been consistently coming every day to my studio for eleven and a half years and in these past few years she has been winning everything! Your mother abandoned Jessie's dance career for a job and you've been too busy with your popstar every weekend to support her, so tell me why I would let you just show up and make her nervous at the most important competition of the year!" With that she walked into the dressing room and Chaz walked away.

We walked into the dressing room as soon as he was gone and there was no time to celebrate, we had to get ready straight away for the duet. The costumes are gorgeous! They're pink and pretty! As soon as we were finished we almost went straight onstage.

I love this dance so much and I can tell we're both giving it our all. Once the music ended the audience stood up and the one person that caught my eye was Chaz, he gave me a thumbs up and winked. I smiled back and just as I was waking off stage I saw Justin and Ryan too. I can't believe they all came to watch!

My costume for the group dance was side stage because we had so little time to change, so I pulled it on as quick as I could while Brooke fixed my makeup.

When the music started we all got straight into character, laughing and pretending to take pictures and stuff. When the music changed and it got scarier and sad, I think that's what really made people think. When we finished it was just silence. But then all of a sudden everyone went crazy!

We left the stage and when we got to the dressing room I just had to sit down, I'm exhausted!

"Come on girls! Get ready for awards!" Abby said, waking in.

We all changed into out black shorts and black and pink jackets.

The stage was tense. It was nationals after all. They started off with trios.

The emcees voice was making me nervous as he called out tenth all the way to third. When he announced second and it wasn't us I got nervous, either we won or didn't place.

"And your first place junior trio is 'Le Divas'!!!" The three of us screamed and stood up to collect the award. "Great job girls!" he smiled.

"Now moving on to your top ten duets! Starting with tenth place......."

He got to second and I had a horrible feeling it would be us. When it wasn't I got scared. "First place national duo is..........contestants 362 "inside of me"!"

After we collected our award, we sat down and it was time for the solos. This was the most nerve wrecking of them all because its only you, no one else to share the blame with. Just you.

"And first place is Kaylee with Fears!!" My heart shattered right there. The most important one and I didn't even place. I'm in so much trouble.

"And moving on to our junior gro-" "oh I'm sorry, slight mistake there. Our top junior soloist is actually..........Jessie with silence!!" The whole team was ecstatic as I collected my award and sat down.

"And now ladies and gentlemen, drum roll please! The top junior group at Nationals 2013 is........ The last text!!!" We all jumped up and screamed so loud!!! We are national champions!!

When we got back to our dressing room it was such an excited atmosphere. When Abby walked in we all went berserk! She came straight over to me and gave me a ginormous hug.

"You my dear, are a four time national champion in one day!!"

There was a knock at the door and abby told then to come in. And of course in walked the three musketeers. Chaz, Ryan and Justin.

"Well done everyone!" Chaz cheered.

"Guys you have to get out, no boys in a girls dressing room till afterwards, thank you. We will send for you once we're ready, may take a while though so get busy!" She shooed them out as we all laughed.

"Well girls, fantastic end to a great season. Back in the studio on Monday though," she winked. I packed up all my stuff fast and went out to find the boys.

"There's our star!!" Chaz shouted once he saw me. He picked me up and hugged me. "I never knew you could dance like that!" Justin exclaimed,

"I am quite special," I joked.

"Come on let's go home," Chaz smiled. I handed them my stuff and went to say bye to my team.

As soon as I walked in I was engulfed in a group hug.

"Well done jessie!!" They all screamed. I laughed. " thanks guys but it wasn't just me! Anyway Im going home so thank you!" I turned to Abby.

"No problem babe!" She smiled. I walked out the door excited for my summer to begin now that cheerleading and dance were done for the year!

A/N okay so basically she's in Abby Lee Dance Company and she's basically Chloe but Abby loves her like maddie if that makes sense? Loads left not over xx
