Its not a date

Jessie's POV

I opened the door to a grinning, rose-holding Cody.

"These are for you," I just want to smack the smile off his face but instead I took the flowers.

"Thanks loser!" he just grinned at me, seriously, get the hint! if someone repeatedly calls you loser, asking them on a date is clearly not the response they're looking for! Even if I did say yes.

"Geez for hating me you sure put a lot of effort into looking nice for our date!" he turned around to smirk at me.

"First of all, we could get papped. Second, you're right, I don't like you and third, It's not a date!!"

"Whatever you say Jess, whatever you say!" he chose this moment to wink at me. Idiot.

We walked out of the hotel and started making our way down the road.

"So Jess, your a rebel I hear?" I just stared at him and he cracked up.

"You think your hilarious but your really not." he just winked at me and we continued walking in silence.

It was a comfortable silence until I felt Codyss arm slide around my shoulder.

I slapped his arm away without even looking at him. "no, not yet" I said with a poker face.

"I heard a yet that's good!"

"No you did not hear a yet."

"I did! you said not yet, so clearly your in love with me!" he stared at me triumphantly while I looked at him like he had ten heads.

"And clearly your delusional! and where are we even going!?"

Instead of answering he just pulled me over to a black car. "We couldn't have just been picked up at the hotel no?" I muttered.

"By who?" he chuckled getting into the driver seat.

It took me a second to understand what was happening. "Oh hell no! I'm not getting into a car that you are driving. No. Nope, No way!"

5 minutes later I'm sitting in the front seat of his car. Great.

"So I thought picnic maybe? give me a chance to charm you?" he smiled at me.

I looked away just in time to hide my smile from him. Maybe I should give him a chance. He's not exactly hard on the eyes and I do feel flattered that he is so persistent.

I was snapped out of my little daydream by Cody. Of course.

"What? no sarcastic response or insult? Maybe the love potion has kicked in!"

He clearly took one look at my face and was quick to ensure me he was kidding.

The rest of the car ride was spent singing along really badly to the radio until we pulled up at a quiet park with fairy lights everywhere.

"Aw this is so cute!" I was in awe of the picturesque scenery.

Cody set the picnic basket down on the grass and lay out a blanket. He then started unloading the food.

"So we have chocolate covered strawberries, Nutella sandwiches, cans of Coke or Fanta and a tub of Pringles."

"Healthiest foods I could find!" He added with a wink.

The rest of the night was spent talking, laughing, displaying our best dance moves which is pretty hard on grass and stalking people on Instagram.

Three hours of all that went by way too quickly and soon we were packing up all of the empty containers from our 'meal'.

Cody loaded the heavy basket into the trunk of the car and slammed the door down. He turned around and I realised how close our faces were, our noses almost touching.

"Would you slap me if I kissed you right now?" he whispered without breaking eye contact. I just shook my head and next thing he crashed his lips onto mine.

He wrapped his hands around my waist and turned me around so I was now leaning against the car with our lips still connected sharing a passionate kiss.

Eventually we had to pull away for air and he smiled down at me.

"I told you I'd charm you" he winked at me before opening the door of the car for me then getting in on his own side.

The drive back was filled with random chatter and jokes until we pulled up to the hotel and they took the car to park it.

"Where did you even get that car?" I asked as he interlocked our fingers.

The doorman oped the main door of the hotel for us and we walked into the warm lobby.

"The hotel do a rental service" he shrugged. I chuckled,

"Well thank you for renting the car and bringing me on amazing date!" I pecked his cheek and he smiled.

All too soon we were at the door of the hotel room.

"Even though we're both going into the same hotel room I want to finish this like a proper first date so," he cleared his throat and I snorted.

He took my hands in his and looked at me "Jessie, this has been the best date of my life and may I kiss you goodnight?"

I chuckled a bit before nodding. He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine. It started off slow but he then licked my bottom lip asking for entrance, which I granted. The kiss was getting heated until our bedroom door opened and we jumped apart to see the boys standing there with their arms crossed.

I blushed and they smirked at us. "I thought you didn't even like him?" Ryan stared at us incredulously and Cody just smirked at me "I charmed her!" I rolled my eyes and went into the bedroom, grabbing my pyjamas and headed into the bathroom to get changed.

"Night boys!" I shouted as I slammed the door.

Who would have thought id fall for Cody Simpson?
