We waved goodbye to Mr and Mrs Winchester as we got on the train and began to search for a empty compartment. Other first years where rushing up to the windows, waving one last good bye.

Finally after a few tries Rose slid open the door to a compartment with two read heads in. They both looked exactly the same and wore matching jumpers too. "Can we sit in here?" Rose said, her face still beaming with excitement. "Of course, take you pick of seats." One of the boys said smiling at the other. "I'm Fred by the way. This is my brother George." Fred said, eating a chocolate frog. How strange. We sat diagonal from them, putting our things overhead before sitting down.
"If you have trouble remembering, I'm the handsome one." George said grinning at Rose. "Aw thanks, you didn't have to." Fred joked and then looked at me. "I'm Alexandra." I stated, to stop the awkward silence. "Hmmm.... Too long. I think Alex will do." Rose nodded her approval. And George laughed hysterically. Rose furrowed her eyebrows, "Care to share?" George went silent for a moment then started to laugh uncontrollably again, this time almost crying.

Fred's smile grew wider as he slowly started to understand. "We played a prank on Rose in Diagon Ally. We told her that the Ministry of Magic knew what she had done and they where coming to take her away." He chuckled.
"You should of seen your face!" George huffed out of breath. Rose just shook her head disapprovingly. "You boys will end up in Slytherin if you carry on like that." She fired and they just stuck their tongs out at her. I just sat there confused to what on earth a Slytherin was.

"What's a Slytherin?" I asked Rose shortly after, as the twins chatted amongst themselves. "It is one of the four houses." Upon seeing my confused look she continued. "There are four house that all the students get sorted into in their first year. Through the year they have this competition between all the hoses with points. The professors can give and take points but whichever house has the most points at the end of the year wins." I nodded understanding completely. "The four houses are:
"Gryffindor, those are all the brave ones. Hufflepuff, the loyal ones.
Ravenclaw, all the smart people.
And Slytherin, they are all evil and mean."

After she explained to me and we had a short debate about which house we all wanted to be in, we all went to change into our robes.
