Demons

In the shadows they reside

These demons, I try so hard to hide

Deep in the corners of my mind

Will you find

Those eyes

Beating red

Their voices fill me with dread

Making me think, I'd be better off dead

Least then I'd be free

From these demons, Haunting me

Driving me to  the brink of insanity

I can hear them, As they  laugh with glee

Taking pleasure in my misery

There's nothing you can do to save me

So don't bother trying

It's best you keep a safe distance

Just walk on by

Don't even give me a second glance

Cause you don't stand a chance

Against this menace

I can hear them now

 Whispering in my ear

The very last thing, I wish to hear...

"You can't win this fight"

Much as I hate to admit it

I know, They're right...

"Monsters are real, And ghosts are real too. They live inside us, And sometimes...They win"-Stephen King
