I've said this once, but I'll say it again. All of my chapters are pre-made, but the author's notes are not. I want to give you guys content as fast as possible, but in good quality. Though, I've been having some trouble with that, because of school, but I'm trying my best! Well, thanks for reading this note. Not a lot of people do.

Lucy's POV:

"Tell me a little bit about yourself, Natsu. I really want to know," I said as I cleaned the broken vase Petunia broke. I could've sworn he flinched when I said those words.

"W-Well, there's not a whole lot about me. I'm just a commoner and I happened to just stumble across your tower."

"There has to be more than just that. How old are you?" I asked, while walking towards him.

"I'm currently twenty-years-old and I-"

"You're old," I said bluntly. Natsu smacked me in the head.

"I'm not old! I'm still young at heart!" Natsu said angrily. I tried to hold in the laughter that was about to escape my mouth any second.

"Hey, I was just kidding! Twenty is a very young age. I'm almost eighteen, so we're about two years apart." Natsu's frown turned into a smile. He used his thumb to massage the part of my head that was slapped by him. He probably felt guilty for hitting me on the head.

"Of all the topics you could've chosen, why did you choose age?" Natsu asked. I shrugged my shoulders and went to the living room. Natsu followed behind me.

"I don't know. I just want to get to know you better. It's always lonely up in here with just me and Petunia." We both took a seat on the couch and started talking.

"Then, come with me. I'm going to be lonely all by myself." I shook my head and sighed.

"I can't. I'm not suppose to leave the tower," I said. Natsu's eyes was filled with determination. It seemed as though he won't leave me until I agree with him.

"Come on, Lucy. There's a whole world just waiting for us. You know every inch of this place, but you don't know what the outside holds. Please, come with me." He held my hand in between his, encouraging me to come. I was unsure whether I should leave my home or follow Mother's orders.

"Natsu, I-"

"I won't force you, but just know that nobody can keep you locked up in this tower forever. One day, a bird's got to leave the nest, right?" Stubbornly, I didn't want to tell him that he was correct. I know I have to leave, but I need to know when. When is the right time to leave? A feeling of adrenaline rushing through my body made me feel excited. Excited to go on an adventure and never look back. I closed my eyes and smiled.

"This must be fate or something. It's like I'm suppose to go out with you." Natsu held out his hand, which I happily took. We went to the window and he opened it, making me feel the cool breeze from the outside.

"Are you really going to go?" Before I was about to answer, Petunia jumped at me and landed on my shoulder.

"Don't forget to take me with you, Lucy. It's going to be boring if you left me alone. How am I suppose to have snack time if you don't give me the fish?" Petunia looked at me and gave me her cutest eyes.

"Don't worry, Petunia. I'm not going to leave you. You can come with me too." Petunia gave me her happiest meow and landed on Natsu's head.

"Nya~ Natsu's hair is so cozy," Petunia said as she snuggled more. Natsu didn't seem to mind and chuckled. He grabbed a long piece of rope and handed it to me.

"What do you want me to do with that?" I asked.

"Tie it to somewhere stable." I looked around the room and found a hanger above the window. I tied it tightly and he threw the rope outside, just enough to hit the ground. After that, he put his hand around my waist and pulled me to his body. I felt my cheeks warming up.

"W-What are you doing?"

"Just hold on to me and don't let go." I hugged him tightly and he used the rope to climb down the tower. I looked at the ground and buried my face on his chest.

"How much longer?" I asked.

"I'll make it go faster if you want."

"How?" He put the rope between his legs and loosened his grip. Instead of climbing, we slid all the way down the tower. I was mortified to death.

"Don't look down!" Natsu shouted. I closed my eyes and hugged him tighter. We were about to hit the ground, but Natsu didn't know how to stop. We ended up crashing all the way down with him on top of me. Our faces were just inches apart and I could feel his warm breath touching my pale skin.

"Natsu... Can you get up?" He blinked his eyes twice and got off me.

"Oh, yeah, check to see if you guys are fine. I'm doing great, thanks for asking," Petunia said as she got off of Natsu's head. I sprinted to her direction and petted her on the head.

"Im sorry, Petunia. I was just... distracted." She looked away from me and tilted her head up.

"Starting now, I'm going to give you the silent treatment," Petunia said as she walked away from me.

"I'll give you salmon if you stop your silent treatment." Her ears perked up and she looked back to face me.

"How many?" She asked. I let out a long sigh.

"Breakfast, lunch, and dinner," I answered. She didn't seem satisfied with my answer. "I'll also give you one at snack time," I added. She made a huge smile and landed on my chest.

"Nya~ Lucy promises!" I held her on my arms and walked over to where Natsu was. I held one of his hand and his cheeks immediately began to turn light pink.

"Shall we go?" I asked. He gave me his wide, toothy grin.

"After you, M'lady..."

I'm sorry if this is a very short chapter. It's exactly at 1,100 words and I feel so ashamed. I still hope you like the chapter, even though it's not as long as my previous one. I promise that the next chapter will be longer! And when I promise something, I never ever break that promise. ;)
