Jordan P.O.V
Why does Lily have to be so difficult! I politely asked her to be just a little more mature and she walks away!
Crunch
Oh no. I turn a 360 and now I'm surrounded by jungle bushes and trees.
There are more branches snapping. They're getting closer.
My spear appears in my hand. It's taller than me, and I'm 5'7.
I hear a crack behind me and whirl around.
Pointing the spear at the bushes I hear a crack behind me.
I'm surrounded.
Lily P.O.V
I jump up from my sleeping bag to a scream.
Jordan's.
It has to be, she's the only human I've seen yet.
I look over at Marbles, whom is already sniffing the air around us.
"Sniff anything?" I asked, the question sounding a lot better in my head. Marbles glanced over at me.
"Not yet." He said.
"I think it's Jordan." I thought of a sword, and my dagger grew into a silver sword. "Nice." I commented as I swung at a nearby tree. "Focus at the task at hand Lily." I thought to myself. I charged ahead, following the screams.
Marbles yelled at me that he spotted something.
It was Jordan.
There were these weird looking stone creatures creeping up on her pointing bows and arrows at her.
She attempted to swing her spear at them, trying to take them down, but when she chopped a head off, it just grew back.
Geez, this 5 year old has one big imagination... And a dangerous one too.
I jumped from the bushes, showing no mercy to the stone monsters.
"Lily!" Jordan yelled, her voice hoarse.
"I got your back." I said with a smirk.
We continued battling these creatures when an arrow was shot into my left arm. Screaming in pain, I stabbed one in in the green gem in the center of it's midsection. It poofed into a cloud of dust, and didn't grow back.
"Stab the green gem!" I yelled over the noise.
Marbles began lunging at the stomachs of the monsters, where the gem was located. Jordan violently continued swinging her spear. Eventually they were gone.
I took my bandana off and wrapped it around the area of where I got shot. "Thank goodness that's over." I sighed.
"Yeah." Jordan said blankly.
•••
We all walked through the jungle, Jordan and I not saying a word. Marbles attempted to get a conversation started by congratulating me on finding out about the gem thing.
"I could have figured it out just as easily." Mumbled Jordan.
Anger began rushing through me. It's not that I have anger issues, it's just that I'm tired of her not taking me seriously.
"Seriously Jordan?!" I snap. "You call me the childish one, but look at what your saying! I figured it out and you just can't be happy for me. If it weren't for me and Marbles, who knows what could've happened to you. I know I might be a little like Mabel Pines or something, but that's just who I am... And if you can't accept that then we shouldn't be friends. I am smart. I am capable of coming up with a plan or figuring something out, and you should support that and if you can't deal with that, then I don't want to be a partnership with you."
She stared at me her eyes wide. Then she started.....laughing.
"Why are you laughing?!" I asked, balling up my fists.
"Because..." She began, gasping for air. "Because I've never heard you say such a long paragraph!"
"You think this is funny?!" I asked, feeling a giggle in my throat.
She laughed some more and I began to laugh with her.
"This is why we're friends." She said, finally stopping.
Sorry for the long wait. But here you go!
