Silence took over for a little while. Marinette looked over at him "I'd still love to go on that date that you mentioned earlier.." She looked down. "Or would you prefer ladybug..?"
The feline stayed quiet as soon as he felt the presence of the girl sit right next to him. He didn't know if it was alright to say hello to her kwami since she looked so down. After a few silent minutes passed he finally heard her voice and it wasn't something he expected her to say. He tried to keep his positive, flirty attitude even in this strange situation. "I prefer you. Ladybug may be my lady but you're still my princess." He told her and looked over at her.
"If you want to go on a date with this cat then let's go.~ I can totally take you on a romantic date that you'll love." He said with a smile as he gently lifted up her chin so she would face him. "I prefer you."
Marinette looked at him a bit worried. "Okay.." She stood up and smiled. "But since you know my identity.. Shouldn't I know yours? Or should I just know you as the kitty cat that is going to come to my rescue?" She slightly giggled and gently places tikki in her bag. She knew tikki was mad at her but Marinette didn't really care. All that mattered to her is the fact that Chat wasn't upset with her know that he knew who she really was. She was happy. "Where do you wanna go?" She smiled.
Chat noticed the hint of worry and fear in his lady's face and smiled at her to clear up any doubts she had. "Hmm.. I suppose. But I like being your masked Romeo.~" He said playfully. "This kitty will stay mysterious for a little longer. It makes the ladies wonder and always come back." He joked with a small chuckle. Once he saw that she was feeling alright he was relieved. "Anywhere with you, princess." He replied simply.
Marinette smiled and him. "We could always go for a walk..?" She looked at him. She thought the idea of him being her 'masked romeo' was cute. Marinette put tikki back in her bag. "I'm sorry it was so sudden.. I didn't mean to force it on you, we've just been fighting together for a while now and-"
"A superhero walking with a lovely girl? The news will be raving." The black cat responded with a smirk curved on his lips. He watched as the kwami was silenced and hidden into her bag, saying nothing but wagging his tail. "Anddddd?" He said, waiting for her to continue. He expected her to say something like she loved him or anything like that. He would definitely blush a dark red if she did.
Marinette giggled a bit and took his hand "and I think you're my little kitty who just happened to fall for a tiny ladybug." She smiled and places her small pink lips onto his. "You truly are miraculous." She whispered.
"A tiny ladybug with a big heart, of cour—" He paused in complete silence once he felt a pair of lips press his own in a lovingly way. His face immediately flushed a shade of red, startled by the kiss. ".. M-my lady.." He stammered a bit on his words as his tail swayed rapidly.
Marinette smiled and looked at him "yes kitty?" She giggled a bit and took a step away from him awaiting his reply. "i am always the one kissing you my love, and I'm the 'tiny ladybug'" Marinette looked down a bit shy.
"Nothing.." He replied as he tried to regain his composure from that sudden kiss. He didn't see the kiss coming and when it did, it definitely caught him off guard. "Then maybe the cat should make a move? Since he's always being kissed by his dear Ladybug." Chat said as he smiled playfully.
Marinette smiled "maybe later, first the cat is going to surprise me with some miraculous date that he said he wanted to go on, then the cat can make a move." She smiled and started to walks downstairs. She wondered how everyone would react when they see them both together out in public, would she have to deal with Chloe at school? Marinette shook her head and continued to walk. The bakery was empty. Her parents where out on a business trip on the opposite side of Paris so she was left to Watch over the bakery by herself. She saw that was a line of people in her parents shop. They where the best bakery in Paris after all.. Of course she'd be busy.. Marinette sighed and walked over to the register. She looked over at chat and mouthed "sorry" to him. She really was, she didn't want to leave him hanging but duty called..
"Ah, of course, of course, my princess." Chat said with a sly smile as he rubbed the back of his head. He sat on her bed silently and obediently, waiting forget return. He had assumed that she went down to the bakery to grab a snack but of course this was her family's bakery. She probably had a shift of her own to take care of. The blonde let out a small sigh once he received a mouthed apology from Marinette and hopped off her bed. He went downstairs half-way and beckoned her with small 'pssts.'
Once he caught her attention he waved her goodbye. "I'll see you on our date!" He said as he snuck off out into the city.
