Ninja of the sky (Ninjago fanfic)

Chapter 2

<Cole POV>

Sensei summoned all of us to his room on the Bounty. "There is a new prophecy. A new ninja will arise - the ninja of the sky. She will be a master in the art of Taekwondo. We need to find her. Now. " All of us stared at Sensei. She? A female ninja? Boy, this was gonna be fun.

We quickly headed off the bounty, leaving Nya on the ship. Running to the only Taekwondo school in Ninjago, poor Kai carrying Sensei on his back, Zane flung open the door just as Sensei hopped off and took his place at the front. Coincidentally, a beautiful girl who looked about nineteen walked by. She stopped short when she saw us, and asked, "Aren't you guys the ninjas of Ninjago?" Oh wow! She recognizes us! Jay nodded.

Sensei stepped forward. "I am Sensei Wu. There is a prophecy that you, my dear Brooklyn, are the Ninja of the sky..." Sensei launched into an explanation of the prophecy while Kai rolled his eyes. I kept staring at the girl, Brooklyn. Her hair was raven black, like mine, and her eyes were a dark brown. Her black hair had turquoise highlights in it, and she was wearing a Taekwondo uniform. She nodded at Sensei's explanation. Finally, he reached the most important part. "So, Brook, would you care to join our team?"

Brook looked absolutely delighted. "Sure!" Upon hearing that, all of us cheered. Jay, being the chatterbox, introduced himself. "Hey! I'm Jay, I'm the ninja of lightning. This is Kai, he's the ninja of fire." Jay pointed to Kai, then poked him in the ribs. "This one is our nindroid friend Zane." He patted Zane's head. "Finally, this guy over here," he slapped my back, "is our dear leader Cole." She looked at me, and blushed. I felt my face heating up too.

"Everybody, onto the bounty! Chop-chop! Brook, tomorrow, meet us outside your apartment. Cole will help you with your belongings." Sensei Wu shooed us four back onto the Bounty. and waved Brook off.
