Chapter 3

<Jay POV>

When we were back on the bounty, I walked up to Cole and sat down on the bed beside him. "Cole, you like Brook, right?" Cole sighed, and nodded. "IT'S ALMOST LIKE ME AND NYA!" I shouted. I ran over to Nya's room, and told her about Cole's little... Dilemma. "Cole has girl problems... I think you should go help him." I dragged Nya over to the room without waiting for her reply. Sitting on my bunk, Cole explained the situation to Nya, who nodded. Nya patted him on the shoulder. "I'll talk to her when she moves in. See what I can do for you." Nya said empathetically. We left Cole and headed back to our rooms.

<Cole POV>

Yes! Brook's moving in with us! I was ecstatic, but a little worried. What if she didn't like me? I was nervous at the thought. That night, as we sat down to Zane's marvelous cooking, I couldn't help but think about her. Her beautiful brown eyes that sparkled, her shiny long hair, her-

"COLE! COLE! EARTH TO COLE!" Jay yelled at me while waving a potato in my face. Yes. A potato. I shook my head and stared at him. "What?" "Sensei just said that we're gonna move to separate rooms. Each room will have two people, we can pair up and choose our roommates." Jay moved over and put an arm around Nya. Sensei poured a cup of tea, and force-fed it to Lloyd.

"So... Kai and I, Jay and Nya, Sensei and Lloyd, and Cole and Brook! That's settled then!" Wait... Me and Brook? This was gonna be really awkward....
