(The next day...)
I changed into a lavender tank top, white shorts and combat boots. Packing my stuff into an aqua blue duffel bag, I ran downstairs. I contacted the landlord and told him that I would no longer be staying there. I lugged my bag outside and saw Cole standing on the pavement. He waved to me, and I smiled back.
"Hey Brook," he greeted me. My face turned red and I stuttered a simple "hi". Cole took my bag, and we headed onto the bounty.
"So... I'm sharing a room with you, you know? Kai's with Zane, Jay's with Nya, Sensei's with Lloyd and you're with me." Cole explained. I was shocked. Sharing a room with Cole? This was gonna be even more awkward...
We jumped onto the bounty and Cole led us to our room, putting my bag on my bed. Just then, Kai yelled loudly from the kitchen, "LUNCHTIME!" I groaned. Kai's cooking was the worst of us all. Maybe second worse, because I can't cook.
