Aimee's P.O.V.

I grabbed my school bag off my bed and walked downstairs to join mum.

I entered the kitchen and sat at the island. I grabbed an apple for my lunch box.

"Morning mum" i said.

"Morning sweetie. Are you excited for your first day at your new school?" she beamed.

I slowly looked at her and frowned.

"I guess i'll take that as a no" she said.

"Mum you have no idea how hard it is to start at a new school where you know absolutly nobody, you're all by yourself. I would know on the other hand, because ive done it twice already" i exclaimed.

"I know, and im sorry about that, but its all apart of life. You're sixteen, you should know that by now" she smiled.

I nodded my head and checked the time on my phone.

"You better get going, you dont want to be late" she smiled.

I got up and hugged her goodbye.

"See you this afternoon" i smiled and walked out the door.

I walked outside and it was freezing! I guess thats what its like in Sydney during winter.

I pulled my skirt down and hugged myself, these jumpers arnt very warm.

I continued walking down the road, just casually taking my time.

I saw the school gates come into view and i let out a sigh. I have a feeling this day is going to be full of suprises.

I walked into the office and smiled at the office ladies.

"Hi, my names Aimee Dyet, im new here" i smiled.

"Ah yes, Aimee. Here is your timetable and locker number, plus a map of the school. I hope you settle in nicely here" the lady smiled.

"Thankyou" i smiled and grabbed the sheets, and walked out.

I walked along the corridors, avoiding as much people as possible.

I found my locker at the other end of the school. I opened it and put all my books in there, only grabbing the books i need for first and second period.

I closed my locker door and went to turn around, but suddenly i ran into someone. We both fell backwards, dropping my books.

"Aw shit, im so sorry" i said to the guy i ran into.

He stood up and held his hand out to me. I gladly took it and stood up. I straightened my shirt and skirt out and fixed my hair.

The guy bent down and picked my books up for me.

"Thankyou" i smiled.

"Thats okay, and it was my fault, i wasnt watching where i was walking" the guy smiled.

"Thats alright" i smiled awkwardly.

"Whats your name?" he asked.

"My names Aimee Dyet, i started today and im already running into people" i smiled.

He laughed.

"Well my names Jayden Sierra, im a senior here, so i would be happy to walk you to class" he smiled.

"Thanks" i smiled.

"What do you have first?" he asked.

I pulled out my timetable and passed it to him.
