Chapter 7

Aimee's P.O.V.

*Monday*

I got out of Jaydens car and we walked up to the boys.

"Hey guys" i smiled.

"Hey you two" the boys smiled.

We sat down and started talking before 1st period. Before the bell went i walked to my locker with Jayden.

"You know what sucks about being friends with only guys" i said.

"Whats that?" Jayden asked.

"That i have no girl friends that i can go dress shopping with for the deb" i pouted.

"Will can take you, he loves stating his opinions on how girls look in clothes" he smiled.

"Really?!" i exclaimed.

"Yep, loves it" he laughed.

"I guess i'll have to ask him, wont i?" i smiled.

"I guess you will" he smiled.

"Uh, i need to ask you something" i said.

"Whats that?" he asked.

"That kiss on the weekend, what was that?" i asked.

Jayden sighed and looked me in the eyes.

"I, uh... I like you Aimee. I really like you" he smiled.

"Really?" i asked suprised.

"Yes, i have ever since i layed my eyes on you when we ran into each other on the first day that you came here" he smiled.

I was about to say that i like you too, but then the bell rang, interupting us.

"Uh, i better get going. We can finish this conversation later, yeah?" i smiled.

"Yeah, sure" he smiled.

I smiled and walked past him to maths. I can't believe Jayden likes me. He actually likes me.

Finally its recess, i cheered in my head.

I walked to the table where the boys sit and saw they were already there, mucking around like two year olds.

I shook my head, smiling, as i walked towards them.

I sat down inbetween Trent and Julian, with Zach, Jayden and Will across from me.

Jayden and i would have these cute eye contacts and look away smiling.

I think im falling for him. Hes always there for me when i need him. He loves to listen and share his opinion. Hes a really great guy.

"Uh Jayden?" i asked.

"Yeah?" he said.

"Can i please have a word with you" i said, looking at the boys, "Privately" i finished.

"Yeah, sure" he smiled standing up.

As we were walking away the boys started wolf whistling. Jayden turned around and gave them a look that made them stop.

We walked down to the oval and sat on the steps. We sat in silence for a bit.

"Jayden, i just wanted to say that, i like you too" i smiled.

I watched as his face lit up with happiness.

"Seriously?!" he exclaimed.

"Yes" i smiled.

He shook his head smiling.

"You're always there for me. You always listen to what i have to say and you understand me. We had a pretty good weekend together and i think you're a great guy" i smiled.

"You have no idea how happy i am" Jayden smiled, leaning in.

We kissed and it was amazing. We pulled apart and heard more wolf whistling and clapping.

We turned around and saw the boys standing behind trees with their phones out. I hid in Jaydens chest, all shy.

"Look what yous did" Jayden laughed.

"Sorry guys, but i filmed it" Zach laughed.

"You wait until tonight, yous are going down" Jayden yelled as they all ran away.

"Whats on tonight?" i asked.

"Guys night, at my house" he smiled.

"Guys night?" i mocked.

"Its like a sleepover, but we play soccer in the dark, go swimming and play cod all night, no sleep at all" he beamed.

"And yous do this every week?" i asked.

"No, just once a month" he replied.

I laughed.

"Oh i almost forgot, Aimee, will you be my girlfriend?" Jayden smiled.

"Of course i will" i smiled.

I kissed his cheek just as the bell rang.

"What have you go now?" i asked.

"A free period, you?" he asked.

"I also have a free period" i smiled.

"Well i guess we dont have to move for awhile" he smiled.

"True, but i have to study, so come on" i said standing up and extending my hand out for him to take.

He gladly took it and we walked hand in hand back to the table. The boys were already gone, so Jayden sat there talking to me while i studied.

I was really into my studying that i didnt realise Jayden was staring at me, smiling.

I looked up at him awkwardly.

"What?" i asked.

"What are you thinking about?" he smiled.

I looked away and laughed, but then he had a serious look on his.

"I was thinking about the deb" i said.

"What about it?" he asked.

"The fact that i still havent got a dress and tomorrow is the only day i can get one, when im not busy" i sighed.

"Look, i'll ask Will to take you, im sure he wouldnt mind" he smiled.

"Thankyou, i was meant to ask Will but i forgot" i smiled.

"Thats okay, i'll ask him for you" he smiled.

"Thankyou" i smiled.

"Dont you have to get a tuxedo?" i asked.

"I may have already gotten one" he smiled.

"Really?" i laughed.

"I like to think ahead" he smiled proudly.

"Smooth" i laughed.

I heard the bell ring and everyone started leaving the classrooms.

"I'll see you later" i smiled and kissed Jayden.

"Bye!" he called out.
