Best Night (A Jayden Sierra Story)

Chapter 5

Aimee's P.O.V.

I was woken up by the sun streaming in through my curtains and hitting me right on the face.

I slowly opened my eyes and sat up. I stretched my arms out and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes.

I looked at my clock and it was 10:30am. Ah, dont you just love sleeping in on saturday mornings.

I lifted my blanket off me and walked downstairs.

I remember mum telling me last night that she wasnt going to be home until late tonight, again.

I sat on the lounge and put cartoons on. You are never too old for cartoons.

I looked down at what i was wearing and i realised i was wearing Jaydens jumper that he gave me last night.

I put it on because i was freezing. Its actually a really warm jumper, but thats because its big on me.

I sat there watching cartoons for the rest of the morning.

I looked outside and it was pouring down rain. Well there goes my saturday.

I walked back up to my room and changed into a pair of trackies, ugg boots and i put a beanie on, but i left Jaydens jumper on.

I pulled my phone out and sent Jayden a text.

'To Jayden;

Hey Jayden, are you busy at the moment?'

He replied pretty quickly.

'From Jayden;

Hey Aim, nope, im doing absolutly nothing'

'To Jayden;

Great! Would you like to come over and hangout? Watch a few movies on a rainy day? :)'

'From Jayden;

Id love to! I'll be over soon :)'

I smiled and placed my phone on the coffee table. I flicked through the channels, waiting for Jayden to get here.

I heard a knock at the door. I stood up and opened it.

"Hey Jayden" i smiled.

"Hey Aimee" Jayden smiled as he stepped inside.

We sat on the lounge and started talking.

"So, what movie did you want to watch?" Jayden asked.

"I was thinking maybe, Dear John? If you dont like them sort of movies we can pick another one" i smiled.

"No, thats fine, i like that movie" he smiled.

I got up and put the movie. I sat back on the lounge and pressed play.

During the movie i could feel Jayden looking at me. It was sweet.

Half way during the movie i was getting sleepy, so i layed my head in Jaydens lap. I looked up at him and he smiled.

The movie finished and we started talking again. Jayden would play with my hair while we talked, it was cute.

"What was your life like before you moved here?" Jayden asked, pulling pieces of hair out of my face.

"It was different. I lived in a beach town" i smiled.

"That is certainly different" he laughed.

"Shoosh you" i laughed.

"So what is a secret that you've never told anyone before?" i asked.

Jayden raised his eyebrows at me.
