Talent Show

Sookie's Pov:

Today is the big day.. The talent show for our class. I'm not quite excited since I know that some people will try to murder me at one point when Sam's not looking. I get dressed and hurry down the stairs.

"Good morning Sookie!" Soul chirped.

"Morning Soul!" I said cheerfully.

I sat at the table waiting for Yuki to come down. We heard foot steps running down the stairs. "Hey guys! Gotta go!" She said running out the door.

"..."

"..."

"What's up with her?" Soul frowned

"Maybe looking for Sam..." I sighed slouching in my chair. "Ugh his name makes me cringe.." Soul said screwing up her face.

"Hurry up so we can get to school." I said changing the subject. "O-ok.." She said shaking her head while finishing making our food. "Mm! This is great!" I said delighted. "Heh thanks, you didn't have to eat it all so quickly." Soul chuckled. "Well it was good so I had to." I licked my lips and burped. "Right on!" Soul laughed.

I got up and went to the sink. I washed my plate as I started to hum the song Sam and I were gonna sing. Soul walked over. "So your using that song?" She asked. "Mhm." I hummed. I grabbed Souls plate and washed it as well. We walked out of our house and straight to school.

We chatted with the other girls before the bell rang.

~Bell rings~

We walked up the stairs to our class. I noticed Invader and Yuki weren't here. Hmm.. They're always the ones that get here on time.. I wonder what's getting them held. Mrs Okami watched us as we waited for some students.

"Let's start roll call as we wait for some students.." She sighed. "Oh also you may take a seat." She smiled.

We all sat down. I gulped realizing Sam,Taurtis,Grian,Yuki,and Invader were not here. I have a very bad feeling about this..

"J?"

"Here."

"Ellen?"

"Present."

"Dom?"

"Here Nyah!"

"Hidden?"

"Here."

"Grian?"

"..."

"..."

"No Grian?" Mrs Okami frowned.

"Yuki?"

"..."

"What why isn't Yuki here?" Mrs Okami glanced at the class.

"So S-" she was interrupted by some panting and footsteps.

"Sorry Mrs Okami!" Panted Grian.

"We lost track of time when we were talking.." Taurtis sighed embarrassed.

Yuki and Invader were panting behind them.

"It's my fault I kept them late.. Sorry Mrs Okami!" Sam bowed.

My heart was beating at how Sam took the blame for his friends. I smiled at him.

"Alright guys.. Go take a seat." Mrs Okami smiled at them. She remarked some names to present.

"Thanks Sam." Taurtis smiled. Yuki and Invader nodded at him as they all took a seat.
