Hidden Secret (Gakuen Alice)

Chapter 5

"Damn it!" Ai yelled, kicking her chair backwards, "damnit, damnit, damnit!" She screamed, punching her bed ferociously. She took a deep breath and slumped onto the bed. "I should have fricken' known! That bastard," she glared at the wall, "You promised!" she screamed.

She coughed, and coughed again. Clutching the area where her heart was, she breathed heavily. "And it seems like I don't have much time left, as well..." She sighed, calming her temper.

Natsume traced his lip with his thumb, thinking about the moment at Christmas. Silently, he watched Mikan sweeping the floor before looking up quickly. Looking confused, she suddenly yelled,"What!? This much time has past already?" Rolling his eyes at the absent-minded girl, he carried on cleaning.

In the meantime, Anna was being scolded after keeping food in her locker. Her Alice had made it into a ghoul, which floated around, teary faced as Narumu-sensei told it's creator off.

Also, Nonoko was also being told off because of a strange experiment she had made.

Ai watched these event happen with a deadpanned look on her face. She wasn't able to escape the Big Clean Up day since it was one of her missions.

Specifically, it was to watch Natsume Hyuuga, but seeing as the only thing he seemed to be doing was touching his lips and looking at Mikan, Ai doubting that he was going to do anything bad.

Then she saw Ruka, Natsume and Mikan's eyes all connect. She chuckled quietly as Mikan hid behind Hotaru's back, blushing furiously.

Sure is fun to look at these reactions. It feels like I'm watching a game. She thought to herself.

"Okay, let's have a scary story competition, " Hotaru announced, her eyes gleaming, "the person who told the most scariest story will receive a prize and the person who told the least scariest will have to pay."

Koroko and Mikan tried their heads to look at her while exclaiming, "Wow.... Look at the money girls eyes! Their sparkling."

As Mikan, Ruka and Natsume's eyes all connected, Mikan blushed and ran behind Hotaru's back. Hotaru was saying "If your runny nose drops even a bit on my uniform, I will kill you." not that Mikan was listening to her. Resting her forehead on her best-friends arm, she felt her face slowly cool down, only to burn up again at the two kissing memories.

You-chan, the small ghost controlling toddler had claimed into Milan's lap before she even realised it.

"Ah," he said, adorably.

"Are you going to get first You-chan? Just because you can say 'ah' doesn't mean you'll scare anyone!" Mikan smiled with a laugh.

Youichi (You-chan) climbed off her lap.

As Mikan cried her sorry, Kokoro continued with the first story.

"And the first story...

When I was younger, I helped an old lady cross the road and then I accidently read her heart...

(A/N Koroko can read peoples hearts and their thoughts. I'll write a prologue about everyone's powers. Carrying on....)

'I found out she was a murderer. Actually, she was a man dressed as a woman so he could escape... "

Actually, the most scariest thing was that you said the whole story with the same expression. Was everyone's thoughts.

Hotaru's turn: 'In Gijitsuke class, there's a place where all the broken robots are stored...At night you can hear them crying, "Where's my aaarmm??!"

The whole team told a story, ones scary, ones stupid, ones they don't even know what to think about. But Sumire's story was the scariest...
