Chapter 6

"Apparently, in the hall ways of the elementary school, there's a girl. She has long black hair that is dripping wet from blood and holds a knife. Whoever she wants to kill, she will murmer out their names..."

Mikan screamed.

You-chan looked behind her, turning on Natsume's ear. "Oi, Polka," Natsume called.

"What?" Mikan cried.

"You-chan says there's a spirit behind you." Screaming again, Mikan turns around and sways her hand up and down, as if there was a fly. During this, her hand caught onto a piece of paper stuck on a wall, ripping it.

It was You-chan's charm.

You could have seen the tense atmosphere in the room.

Natsume, Ruka and Mikan were all cleaning in the same place, thanks to Milan's karma. All the worst, it was the elementary corridors.

Ai was watching them, trying not to burst into laughter by stuffing her face with popcorn. This is too good, really good.

She heard a small scream outside, muffled by the rain. "Oooh," muttered Ai, smirking. Perfect timing.

She looked at her watch and sighed. She left a glowing ball of light, only small so none could see it, and left it recording the scene.

There was no way she was going to miss this just for a mission.

The lights had gone out. It was silent, dark and damp. Not only that, but Mikan's whimpers made everything worse.

"Shut up," Natsume hissed.

"It's too cold and it's scary!" She cried, hugging her knees.

What are you, six? Natsume thought to myself, scowling.

Ruka, however, comforted the girl as if she was his favourite animal. "It's fine, I'm sure the lights will go on soon."

Unfortunately, that didn't come true, and all three of them sat there, Mikan in the middle. At the same time, the two boys looked at the vulnerable girl, the girl they loved. Little by little, their hands reached forwards.

They were all holding hands.
