Chapter 9

He was waiting.

Ai was rubbing her temple with her two fingers, whilst all the other DA kids stood straight, their hands behind their backs.

"Such discipline," she mocked, rolling her eyes. I haven't had enough sleep, she groaned, and yawned. She could see the glares of others and eyes rolling her way.

Ai smiled at them, before putting her thumb to the side of her neck, and making a slitting motion.

They looked away.

She yawned again. Ai was too tired  too be bothered by overly diciplined pups with half-developed powers.

The double doors slowly creeped open, revealing the ESP in his short form contrasting with the HSP, who was tall, and to Ai's slight surprise, quite handsome. Persona was walking behind them, making the students feel fear prick on their skin.

Ai yawned another time, but this time covering her mouth. As she wiped the small tears in her eyes, she noticed the Elementary School Principle glance at her, motioning her to follow them. She sighed, annoyed, but did so.

Curious eyes followed her with the principles as they went to the next room.

Oh, not only overly diciplined, they are also curious brats, she thought to heralded, pursing her lips in annoyance.

They entered the office, and as Ai heard the doors closing, she shut her eyes momentarily to relieve her the emotions she had entrapped in her body.

Her eyes showed again, but with no flint, no shine, no light.

It was emotionless.
