Alphonse's POV:
I woke up with the sun shining brightly in my face. I groan in annoyance... (Y/N) must of opened the curtains. She's probably up already. I got up, hearing a noise coming through the bathroom. I walk up to it.
"(Y/N)? Are you okay?" I asks, putting my ear against the door. I hear some gagging, followed by the toilet flushing. I reach for the handle, trying to open the but, it's locked.
"One... Sec...." I hear her mumble. She washes her hands then opens the door. Her beautiful face looked a little bit pale.
"Are you alright?" I ask tilting my head.
"Yeah." She nods her head in response. "Just a little morning sickness, I think..."
"Do you have work today?"
"Unfortunately yes... But it's fine... If I'm not feeling good at work, I'll just ask Roy if I could go." She replies, giving me a sweet smile.
"Okay." I simply say giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Well, I'm gonna take a shower and head to work..." She says about to close the bathroom door again. I quickly stop her.
"Wait, do you want waffles? I can try to make them again since you taught me how to! I bet they'll be better." I say with a chuckle. Her face scrunches up in disgust.
"Eh.... I'm not really in the mood for waffles to be honest..." She mumbles. Not in the mood for waffles? Maybe it's just because she's sick.
"Oh, okay?" I questingly say. She gives me a small smile before closing the door. Oh well, I guess I'll make waffles for myself....
*TIME SKIP*
(Y/N) went to work about noon and only came back an hour later. When she did retrieve home, she went straight to the bathroom. She's been in there for about 15 minutes. Maybe she's sick? Or having... Feminine issues... But I should check on her... She went to the downstairs bathroom so it didn't take me long to get to her. I put my ear on the door.... Hm, nothing....
"(Y/N)...?" I say with a knock. No response. I knock louder.
"Are you okay, honey?" I ask, a bit louder. I reach for the handle but, of course, it was locked. I started pounding on the door, my heart racing.
"(Y/N), please open the door." I shout. I then hear a quiet little sniffle.
"Al...?" (Y/N)'s voice cracks. She's crying...
"Let me in..." I say calmer. A moment later, I hear the click of the lock and I open the door. I see (Y/N) sitting on the toilet with her head between her knees. I kneel down to her. "What's wrong sweetie?"
"Al...." She starts off saying. She rises her head but doesn't look at me. I can see tears in her pretty (e/c) eyes. She finally gives me eye contact. She takes a deep breath in and out. I put my hand on her shoulder.
"What's wrong? Please tell me." I pleaded. She stares into my eyes. A small smile spread across her face.
"I'm pregnant...." She whispers.
