Chapter 3

Tori's P.O.V

Waking up the next morning I get up and take a cold shower. Getting out I put on black shorts, a red tank top, my signature black leather jacket and black sneakers. For make-up I do the same as yesterday. I get to school and the time flies away, it's now the pediod after lunch and that's english. "Right class today we're going to do projects, the first for this year so I hope you all are exited" the teacher says, "right. Now your all going to be in groups of two and before you do anything else I have already decided who your partner is going to be". As the teacher calls out names I listhen for my name and my partners name, "and last but not least Victoria and Jayden and now you all have to do a project on your partner, find out their likes and dislikes, favourite food and stuff like that, you have two weeks to complete the assingment starting now" she finishes. Lookind around my school bag I find my diary and pen, looking up into bright green eyes my breath catches. He has the most beautifull eyes I've ever seen. "Hi, I'm Jayden and you must be Victoria" he states. "Yeah I'm Victoria, now when should we start doing this?" "Uhm why don't you pick a time and date and where we're going to do this and we will start from there" "yeah whatever, today after school at my house, do you have a car?" I ask him, "yeah, yeah I do" "okay well then follow me after school yeah?" "Yeah that's fine with me" as he says that the bell rings and I get up and go to my next class. The time flies again and before I know it I am at my house with Jayden and we're half way through with the project. We decided to make a poster half of the one side we make full with stuff about him and the other side about me. Putting the stuff away we hear the front door open and close. "Victoria? are you here? I have to tell you something" my dad asks. Rolling my eyes I reply that I am in the living room, my dad walks in and he stares shocked at something beside me. Turning sideways I see Jayden looking uncomfortable. "Who is this?" My dad asks. "This is Jayden we got assigned a project today and he was just about to leave", "NO, I mean stay ugh stay for dinner and we will get to know each other" "uhm dad I don't think that's such a good idea and you probably have work to do so yeah we're gonna go, bye" "uh bye sir it was nice to meet you" Jayden says and follows me to the door. "Thank you for having me I'll see you tomorrow at school, bye" Jayden states walking out and getting into his car and driving away leaving me in this hell holl with my dad. Shutting the door i turn around and almost get a haert attack because standing behind me is my dad with a frown on his face, the same frown I think he wore when the police came to our house that day. "Damn it dad do you want to give me an early grave?!" I exlame. "Who was that and why was he in our house? Is he your boyfriend?" He asks totally ignoring my quiestion. "What? NO! Of coarse not and I told you his name is Jayden and we were doing our project that we got today so no he is not my boyfriend" I state walking around him and up the staires. "Where do you think you're going hmm? I'm talking to you!" "Does it look like I care?" I ask "well the answer is no, so why don't you go back to work and leave me alone like you always do huh" as I say that I walk into my room, shut my door and put my music on loud to drown out his voice. I shower put on shorts and go to sleep

The next morning

I wake up tired and hungry and go down staires to the kitchen, I walk to the cupboard and get a bowl and a table spoon, I walk to the fridge and get the milk, closing the fridge I see a stcky note and scrawled on it states:

Victora when you get this I will be gone on a bussness trip to LA I don't know when I will be back but if I get time I will call you I promise

I stand there thinking about all the times he's left me to go on a bussness trip, I frown when I feel that my cheek is wet and that's when I realize that I'm crying. With my back to the fridge I slowly slide down and sit on the ground. I am sat there infront of the fridge crying my eyes out It's then that I realize how pathetic I really am. About an hour later the tears stop and I get up and slowly go up the staires to my room, walking in my room I see the time and realize that I am late. Fuck them, I think I am not going to school today. Going to the bathroom I shower put on short shorts and another tank top I brush my hair. Going back downstaires I flop on the couch and watch movies. By my forth movie my eyes are drooping and before I know it I am asleep.
Ding dong ding dong. The doorbell goes getting up I tiredly rub my eyes and wonder who could be at the door, opening the door I look up and I'm shocked. It must have shown on my face how shocked I am because suddenly he begins to laugh, becoming angry I ask "Jayden, what the hell are you doing here?" Sobering up he smiles sheepishly and says "sorry about that but your face was just so funny" and another chuckle comes out, "Jayden if your just going to laugh the whole time that you can go!" I angrilly say and begin to close the door "NO wait, i'm sorry i'm here to do the project we got yesterday" "well I am not in the mood to do that so you can go home" I state trying to close the door again but he stopes me again. Frustrated I look up into his face again and am shocked by what I see, his whole face is red and he must be embarased because he looks away. "Uhm that's why I sort of came here, I'm locked out. My parents are away on a bussness trip and they're coming back tonight" "ugh don't you have any friends you can go to?" I ask frustrated. "Well no, my friend's out of town, he is visiting hi's grandma so no, I can't" "ug fine, come in" walking in we both plop down on the couch and watch movies between watching movies I fall asleep.
