Chapter 15

Tori's P.O.V (two years later)

"Victoria, hey, how are you?" Looking up I see Devin standing there with a big smile on his oh so boyish face, standing up I myself sporting a big smile on my face open my arms and immediatly I am surrounded by his strong arms around me, pulling back I laugh, "Devin, hey it's so good to see you again, I missed you and it's going great and you?" sitting down I start talking once again and don't give him enough time to reply, "you know with the exams and everything things have been hectic, but now that it's finally over I can relax, yet there's this stupid part of me that can't wait until uni starts again, crazy I know but I seriosly can't wait" for the first time since Devin got here I shut my mouth long enough for him to talk, "wow, slow down there girl" at that he laughs, " and I am fine thanks for asking and yeah thank heavens the exams are finished lol yet I feel really sorry for my roomate, he has been studying non stop and when I left he finally fell asleep so he will be out like a candle or the next few days" he says with a smile and a mischevios twinkle in his eyes, immediatly curiosity overtakes me as he talks about his roomate, since we have both been in uni now for the past two years I have been hearing of this roomate of his, yet not once have he told me his name or even introduced me to him when I went to visit him about two months ago at the university of Wisconsin, thinking about it brings me back to Jayden, I haven't seen him since he left so suddenly the day before I left for uni and to be honest... I don't know if I want too, my haert still yearns for him as it did when he left but I have learned to control my emotions and I barely think about him now a days yet... sometimes like right now he slips in my thoughts and it takes me a great amount of time to get him out again, pushing myself I return back to the present and hear Devin going on about one of his profesors that doesn't seem to like him much and apparantly has a knive out for him, which I doubt since Devin is the most lovable person I know,  "-and then he calls me out and since I was busy flirting with the girl next to me I wasn't paying attention I didn't know the answer, he called me out on it and insinuated that I am stupid, I was so embarrased and the worst is the girl I was flirting with laughed and when I wanted to flirt some more with her she told me sorry I don't talk to stupid people with the most snottiest voice, everyone around us that heard laughed and the teacher asked them what they're laughing at and they told him, the whole class laughed! I can barely show my face there now!" He exclames to me with eyes wide as if wanting me to reasure him that he isn't stupid and that he can show his face there, I repress the laughter that wants to come out and tell him excactly that and a smile overtakes him and he is immediatly back to his usual bubbly self that everyone loves. "So Vic are you ready? Your bags packed and everything?" He asks me looking up at my face. Devin and I are going to visit my father back in Londen and I am really excited, I can't wait to see my dad once again, "yeah, my bags are packed and everythings ready" I reply to him trying to reasure him, "thank heavens, so are you ready? If we don't leave now we will be late for our flight" he tells me with a pensive look on his face, "yeah my bags are in my car I was just waiting for you" after that we pay and head out while getting into our respective cars and driving towards the airport. Getting out of our cars we head inside and wait for the flight to Londen to be called, finally after a half hour they call our flight and we get on the plane ready to take us back to the place where I grew up.

Devin's P.O.V

Sitting there on the plane I think about the two years that went by and to say that it was actualy the best two years of my life would be an understatement, at first I was prepared to make Jayden's life a living hell since he broke Vic's haert... but I found out that he is really not that bad a guy to hang around with and he quikly became my best bud but I will never tell Vic that since he was the one that broke her haert.

Jayden's P.O.V

Being woken up by my stupid alarm I get up and quikly take a shower to get rid of all the sweat from the day and my sleeping, getting out I ruffle through my bags and take out some jeans and a black shirt, after I take my bags and head to the airport to go back to Londen to visit my mom and dad. Getting on the plane I think about the two past years, the two past years that I haven't once seen her, not even a side glance was given to me, though I have heard that since she left she hasn't once returned and that her dad has been flying to her to see her, I can't help but feel like I am the reason that she hasn't once returned. The flight attendant anounces that we can safely switch our devices back on and I immediatly go on to see that I have a text from my room mate.

To: Jayden
Hey man I have safely reached New York so don't worry.

Devin had become my best friend but it's safe to say that he will never be able to replace the bond that had formed between me and Jace even though I haven't seen or talked to him since I left two years ago, Devin went to go see his niece that he is always raving about but not once even though I have asked him a milion times have he told me her name or shown me a picture, he always states that he is afraid that I would fall inlove with her and take her away from him even though I reasure him every time that my haert is already taken he still refuses. Going to my images I see the picture that I took of me and Victoria two years ago and I feel like crying all over again. I now realize the mistake I made when I let her go that fatefull day and I wish every day with all my might that I could turn back time and never leave her but... it's too late now and there's nothing I can do about it. Being the beauty that she is she probably met someone else and are happily inlove, a pang goes through my chest as the thought crosses my mind, even though I want her happy, a part of me will always wish that it was me that made her happy. All I can do now is hope that I get to see her one more time and apologise for hurting her.

Jace's P.O.V

Waking up I open my eyes to see my beautifull wife Jenni sleeping soundly next to me with my arms wrapped around her and her legs between mine. Even after two years our love for each other hadn't diminished like so many other couples love does, instead our love for each other seems to be growing each day. The twins are now a year and six moths old and they are a blessing yet sometimes a true nightmare. Last year Enrique got sick and had to be hospiilised for a few days. Poor Scarlet cried the whole time and wouldn't once sleep and so was the case with Enrique. Since they're twins they have a bond like no other and they only fall asleep when thay are next to each other, we explained this to the doctor but he was afraid that if we let them sleep together that little Scarlet would too get sick and than we would have major problems on our hands, so for the five days that Enrique had to spend in the hospital we had to stay with  Scarlet that refused to eat or sleep. The doctor at the hospital had the same problem and after two days he finally gave up and let Scarlet see him. Immediatly both they're cries had stopped and not soon after they fell asleep hands clutched together tightly as if never wanting to let go. Hearing noises from the baby monitor I slowly untangle myself from Jen and go to the twins room to see them awake. We originally had two rooms seperate, one for Scarlet and the other for Enrique but they refused to stop crying till we put them back together in the same room. Seeing me there they both begin clapping there hands together while screaming daddy is they're little children voices. Smiling at them I pick them both up in my arms and take them to the kitchen. Grabbing two yogurts out of the fridge I also get two tea spoons and take them back to my room to see my beautiful wife Jenni just waking up. "Good morning my love" I say to her with the biggest smile on my face at seeing her there stretched out on our bed with a loving smile on her face as her eyes take in the sight of me standing there with the twins in my arms and they're food in my hands, "mommy!" They both scream out  with adorable grins on they're faces, immediatly Enrique throws out his arms waiting for his mommy to pick him up, and although Scarlet smiles at her mom she doesn't let go of me, we figured out since they're birth that Enrique is a mommy's boy and that Scarlet is a daddy's girl, though I love them both to bits Scarlet is my favourite just like Enrique is Jenni's favourite. Both twins took a big liking to they're aunty T and whenever they see her they wouldn't even ccome to us and when we leave we have to litterally tear them away from her kicking, screaming and crying.
