"AUBREY!!!! PRISSA!!!" Aubrey and Prissa heard Nuh call from the other room. They nodded at each other and raced to the other room. Aubrey felt her heart skip a beat. Nuh looked at the two thoughtfully. Her face changed to sorrow. "She said no." Nuh explained, shaking her head.
Aubrey frowned. That's not fair! She thought. But she said nothing and followed Nuh with a wave of goodbye to Prissa. This may be the last time Audrey sees her again. Audrey felt her face get hot with sadness, and the cold tears streaming down her face.
She tried to shy away from Nuh, so she wouldn't see Aubrey's tears. Audrey boarded the car and started to look at her phone. It was the newest phone and costs a fortune! It was a rectangle with a holographic screen shooting out. She read the books she put on there for long car trips. It was so long!
Aubrey was on day two of her car trip and supposedly her last day. They were reaching the big building. It was oddly familiar. Like she's seen it before. Aubrey studied the building. It was made of metal, and had big letters that read:
SECRET SPY SCHOOL/MAGIC SCHOOL OF THE GROUND
Aubrey sighed. She was new to a school with experienced people. People say you can't run from your problems, but in this case, Audrey was running to her problems, and away from the fun. Well, she'll miss all except Luke.
"Let's board out, Audrey." Nuh suggested as she opened Audrey's car door. Audrey hopped out of the car and started towards the building. Nuh hurried to catch up with Audrey. "You're so fast!" She said puffing. I noticed I was bolting forward at ease. I immediately stopped.
"Sorry." I muttered as Nuh stopped to catch her breath. Nuh nudged me forward.
"Go on." Nuh told me. I bolted threw the door and my jaw dropped to see what was inside. It was gorgeous! Too bad Prissa can't see this... Audrey thought with a pitiful glance to her side where Prissa should be.
Nuh finally entered the door after what felt like forever. Audrey followed Nuh to the front counter. "Hello Nuh. Who is this and what's her power?" The lady at the counter inquired. Nuh took a deep breath.
"This is Audrey Entadiv. She has all powers." Nuh informed the lady.
The lady widened her eyes. "All?" Nuh nodded. The lady sighed. "Very well. She has room 983. Her roommates are, Keanu, Adriel, Alek, Ronaldo, Moana, Mailey, and Alina."
Nuh nodded. "Aubrey, c'mon!" Aubrey followed Nuh, trying to remember the names. Keanu, Adriel, Moana, Arina. That's all she could remember. Keanu and Adriel were boys while Moana and Arina were girls.
They walked up what seemed like a hundred flights until they reached the floor. Nuh lead me to room 983. Audrey slowly put her hand toward the door knob. Nuh pulled out her many keys, chose one out and turned it into the door. Audrey turned the knob and pulled.
