This CANNOT be happening, You thought as everyone started arguing about who's fault it was they got into this huge mess. You looked around, hoping to find a village or a cave, or something. And just your luck, there was a village near a big crystal blue lake

"Hey," You said. No one could hear you.

"Um, hey," You said a little louder. Still, no one could hear you.

"HEY!" You yelled. Everyone stopped and looked toward you.

"Geez,"  Ross said. "You don't have to yell."

"Look, there is a village a little over there. Why don't we check it out? It's almost night, and we obviously can't survive out here with nothing."

"Already?" Jess exclaimed, looking at the sky. Sure enough, the square sun was about to set.

"C'mon!" Adam said, starting to run toward the village. Ross and Jess followed, and soon you did.

You couldn't make it in time though.

The sun had fallen when you just got halfway to the village which was "A little over there". The spiders, skeletons, zombies, and the creepers started spawned everywhere, which started out a a glowing green square, the slowly transforming into the monster.

"Oh, no!" Jess exclaimed as she ran away from the horde of zombies chasing her. She got hit by the leader of the group, and she fell to the ground. With no sword or anything to fight them back, she was attacked by the rest of the group. Ross suddenly had a burst of courage, so he ran over to Jess and tried fighting them off with his bare fists.

In the end, he killed about two of them, but the other zombies around him were just too much. He ended up dying, in a weird sort of way. Jess died just seconds after, and she also died in a weird way as well.

When they died, their skin didn't turn into a tint of red and they also didn't fall to their side, like in te game. But it wasn't all violent and gory as would like in reality. Their body exploded into glowing green pixels, which lit up the area for a few seconds. The pixels then dissolved in the air, and the light was gone.

"What, what just happened?" Adam stuttered. "Did they just die, for good?"

"I'm not sure," you said, thinking about if they were actually gone forever. "I just want to get out of here."

As you said that, Adam grabbed your hand and started running toward the village, way faster than before. You weren't as fast as him, but you didn't let go. Some monsters threw a hit at you, but it didn't hurt you too bad.  You guys made it to the village in no time at all.

Adam guided you into a large house near the middle of the village. The villager obviously didn't like people storming into his house, so he shoved them both out of there. You guys then ran across the street and found a library, which was empty at the time.

"Let's hide in here," Adam whispered, stepping into the room.

"Okay," you agreed, following him into the room. "Should we sleep?"

"I don't think we can." He walked up to the window and looked out it. "There are hundreds of monsters out there."

"Here, let me see," you said as you waked up beside him, and looked out of the window as well.  Sure enough, there was a lot.

"It's almost like they are being crazily spawned by someone," Adam said.

"Even the monsters seemed to be a little stronger and little faster than usual," you replied. You desperately wanted to talk about Ross and Jess, but you had a strong feeling that he didn't.
But you wanted to say something, just to break the silence.

"Are you tired?"

Adam turned to you a little confused. "Am I tired?"

You nodded. You pulled some string out of your pocket. "I have a lot here, I can make a bed for you."

"No, you should use that for yourself. I think you deserve it more."

You looked a little confused. "Why is that?"

"Well, I care about you. And if we were in a situation like this, you would get stuff like beds first. If we only had one piece of bread I would give you the bigger half. Because I-" He stopped.

Your cheeks were turning into a tint of red, kind of astonished about how he felt. Not that he would be the greedy kind of person, but that he was doing this for you.

"How about I get some wood? That way we can actually make a bed." He walked outside of the empty library, out toward the village's small forest.

You grabbed your string and walked over to the crafting table in the corner. You pulled out the string, and separated each one. You then started the process of crafting string into wool. But you had a hard time focusing.

You were more focused on Adam. And what he said.

He wasn't rude or anything, you thought while crafting. But I never thought he actually felt that way, I mean,  like a friend right? Or not, I don't want it to be just that, I want to be, you know, but... Thoughts like those were the ones that spun around your head, like a top, while you were making the wool.

When you were finished, you took the wool off of the table, and counted them all off. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. I MADE THREE MORE?  Maybe if  Adam had more wood I could make him a bed,  you thought as Adam walked through the door.

"I got the wood! And some tools also." He sat on the floor and you walked over to the spot where he was sitting.

"So, I got 11 oak logs, 7 wooden planks, and I exchanged some wheat I got from the farms for some iron tools from the villagers. Idiots," Adam said as he separated each item into a pile.

"I need 6 wood planks," you said.

"Okay," Adam said as he handed you 6 planks. You turned around and crawled back to the crafting table. You made 2 beds, one for you, and one for Adam.

"It's getting late," Adam said. "You should go to bed".

"Okay," you said, placing down a bed for you. You then sat down a bed for Adam.

"Why are there two beds" Adam said confused.

"One is for you," you replied. "I had enough wool, so I made one for you."

"Oh, thanks!" Adam said as he got into his bed. You did the same.

Wow, this bed is really comfy, you thought. You laid down and started to close your eyes.

"Goodnight," Adam said.

"Goodnight."
