First chapter of 2016! Wooooooo!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was morning. You were already up, but Adam was still asleep. You walked over to the window and looked out of it.

It's still early, You thought, but all of the monsters outside have already burned or walked away. It's safe. Wait...

The thought of Jess and Ross dying, or disappearing yesterday swirled around inside of your head. Thinking that the villagers knew something about this, you grabbed the sword Adam got yesterday and headed on outside.

It was warm outside, but had quite a few clouds, so it ended up being very dark, and hard to see around you. But that wouldn't stop you. You needed answers!

You walked up to a very small hut, and you knocked on the door. A tall villager came out. He must've not liked the look of a player, because he pushed you away and slammed the door shut. You glared at him through the windows, and you started walking the the next house.

The same thing happened three more times. Turns out the last one was a butcher, and you got a cut on your arm from his knife. It hurt, obviously, but when you looked closer at it, it wasn't red, in was more like a neon green.

You thought you would try one more time. The sky was clearing, and Adam should be awake soon. You walked to the farthest house down the gravel path. It turned out to be a library, and you walked to the door. You took a deep breath, and knocked on the door.
The villager answered the door.

"Um, hi. I was wondering if you could give me some information about something," you said.

"Okay," the librarian replied. "Come in. What do you need information about?"

She didn't push me! You thought. "My friends, they, um, disappeared yesterday."

"I assume they faded away. I know that."

"How do you know?"

"We've all did. In fact, we actually were once like you guys. We were players as well, until he caught us."

"Who now?" You asked as you sat down in a seat.

"I'm not sure of his name. But he all tricked us into coming here, either it was a fake game or something."

"So, what happened to my friends? And what is with all the rude villagers here?"

"They can't stand players. They were once like you guys, but they then got killed in the game and ended up someplace different, a factory almost. They were changed into villagers, and they were locked in the game forever, And that is exactly where your friends went."

"What?" You exclaimed as you slammed your hands on the table. "Where can I find this man?"

There is a mountain not far from here,  and there is a giant dark castle on top. The factory is near the bottom part of it, and the man is at the highest point of the tallest tower. "

You sighed. "Thank you. But one last question, why aren't you attacking me?"

"It's because I'm not that kind of person who hates others that much. No, go save your friends before it's too late."

"Right, thank you." You stood up and walked out of the building. You then ran back to where you and Adam slept. When you walked in, you saw him picking up the tools, beds, and items.

"There you are!" He said when you shut the door. "I was wondering where you went."

"I know where I can find Ross and Jess," you said. "There are near  mountain, and if we can't get out and save them quick enough, they are gone for good."

Adam's eyes widened. "That means we have to go now!"

"Um, oka-," you were cut off by him grabbing your hand and pulling you out of the door. He started running, and all you could do was follow. You smiled, and headed out to save your friends.
