Chapter Eight

The battle was tough. Not only were you fighting the man, but you were also trying to figure out who he actually was. He looked familiar somehow, but you just couldn't put a finger on it. You swung the diamond sword at him, and he clashed back with his sword, which was also diamond.

Adam wasn't having a hard time, even if he was using an iron sword. Must be all of the experience he had playing Minecraft, he was playing this way before you.

Now another thing popped into your head as you took another swing at the man. If two wielders with diamond swords were to clash with each other, one would surely have to win. Why? Because of the sword's durability.

Adam would have to play defensive if he wanted to stay in the battle longer, which means you have to do the hard part of fighting. You stepped back and thought about it for as long as you could, before the man came charging at you again. You deflected it, barely, but Adam came in and helped you out.

"Thanks," you said as you stepped to the side and then took a giant swing at the back of the man. No real damage was done, but his cape (Or something like that) ripped off. You saw a symbol on the back of the shirt, which looked red almost, but he quickly noticed you were looking at it, and he turned facing you, the symbol out of your sight.

"Did you see it?" Adam asked you.

"No, but it looked red," you replied, looking at the man, which was actually the first time you took a good look at him. He had a black shirt, white jeans, a purple cape (Well, half of a cape now.), and this weird golden bracelet, that would've looked like it would've belonged into a Sci-Fi movie. It started glowing, and then he swung his sword at Adam.

That bracelet must mean something, you thought, now stepping to the side, in case you got hit. Obviously. If it is like a bunch of other movies I've seen, that could be very well the source of his power. He looks like he has never fought before in his life, just to add onto that.

Weird, you thought as you pulled the sword over your head and starting swinging the heavy sword down, but during the attack, you were wild open, and were hit by the flat part of the man's sword. You flew backwards and then crashed into the ground.

Even if it wasn't the sharp end of the blade, it still hurt, and left a red mark on your stomach. Little drops of water started popping out of your eyes, tears. You quickly wiped them away with your hand, but Adam turned around and noticed you sitting on the floor. He frowned at the fact you were hurt, on the floor, and crying, then quickly turned back to the man. He gripped the shining iron sword tightly, and started running to the man at full speed.

"Oh, so now you're angry!" Said the man, dodging every attack that Adam had made. But in the process, he got too careless and Adam cut his arm pretty deep. But there was no signs of blood, no red at all, but just neon green, like the time when the zombies attacked Ross and Jess.

"Ow, that hurt!" The man said, he covered his arm and smiled. "But that won't stop me." He grabbed something from his pocket, a bottle full of green liquid...

A potion of poison.

You quickly realized what that was, and jumped up as quick as you can. The bottle must of been out of Adam's line of sight, because he had no reaction to it at all. You ran over as fast as you could and pushed Adam to the ground.

"He-," he started to say, but he then saw the potion, and quickly shut up. You looked over at the bracelet the man was wearing, and sure enough, it was glowing.

"The bracelet!" Adam exclaimed.

You nodded. "I'm pretty sure that if we break it, at least in half, he would be powerless for sure."

"Alright then, that's our plan," Adam said. He stood up, and you did too, gripping on to the sword as hard as you could.

You started running in first, and you were soon the target of the potion of poison. He tried throwing it at you, but you swiftly dodged the liquid, and started swinging at him. He took out his sword and blocked the attack, but that was perfect.

Meanwhile, Adam silently sneaked up behind the enemy, and waited until the bracelet was wide open and ready to be crushed to pieces. You swung one more time, and then Adam came up from behind and sliced the bracelet in half.

The man was shocked, no, more like terrified. The pieces hit the floor, then cracked into millions of shards. The man was helpless, and he fell to the ground, unconsious, and then dissapeared.

Or you could say transformed. Once the man dissapeared, and shining green portal opened up in the floor.

That must be the way back to reality, you thought as you set down your sword and smiled.

"We did it," you said, turning towards Adam. He was smiling, just like you.

"I'm probably not going to play Minecraft for a while now," he said. You laughed, and looked back at Ross and Jess. The chains were gone now, and they were just lying on the floor now, sleeping. You walked over to them, and dragged Jess to the portal. Adam did the same with Ross.

"On the count of three," Adam said.

"Okay," you replied, smiling.

"One."

"Two."

"Three."

Little Tiny Author Note
Yes, yes, I know I said I'd have it done by Wednesday from last week, I'm sorry. But, now there is one more chapter to go! In there you'll find out the secret identity of the man, and of course, the story ends. I'll try finishing the story up this week, but I can never live up to promises, so just beware about that. XDBut anyway, please send me in suggestions for future projects!
Bye! :D
