"Do you even know where we're heading?" You asked as you ran through the thin grass of the plains. It was very hot outside, with the sun at it's highest point, but that never stopped the two of you from running.

"Yeah!" Adam said enthusiastically. "No, wait, yeah! Oh wait." He stopped. "Where are we going?"

You laughed a little bit. "We're heading toward the tallest mountains, and we should be able to see the building at the top, it shouldn't be that hard to miss."

"Oh, so you mean over there?" He asked as he turned and pointed toward the left of where you were facing. You looked over there, and sure enough, there was a dark purple castle-like building at the top of the tall mountains, so close to reaching the clouds.

"Oh," was all you could say before Adam grabbed your arm and ran off toward the direction of the castle. You quickly started running, before you could fall and be dragged toward the castle.

Halfway to the castle, Adam let go of your arm and the placed his hand into yours. You looked over at him, who was looking at you. You smiled, and he did the same. Throughout the whole run you two never let go.

Once you got to the edge of the mountain, you both let go of each others hands and stood at one of the many sides of the mountain. You looked up and the dark building was just a blur mixed in with the gray clouds.

"This is going to be one heck of a climb," you said, already grabbing onto a rock. Adam did the same, and soon enough, you were both climbing. Every now and then, you guys would slip of a falling rock, or would lose their grip, but both of you helped each other out. All that mattered at that moment was that the both of you reached the top of the never-ending mountain.

After what seemed like hours of climbing, you finally made it to the top of the mountain. You two were lying next to each other and resting, you guys ran a couple of miles and then instantly climbed a giant mountain. You were exhausted!

You and Adam had rested for about fifteen minutes now. "You ready to go in?" Adam asked, sitting up.

"Yeah," you replied and stood up. You both walked around the castle-like building, and found the doors leading inside of the building. You both walked in cautiously, and surprisingly, there were no guards there.

"Okay," Adam whispered. "Were are on the ground, or base level of the castle, right?"

"Yeah," you whispered back.

"So, if they are at the top of the castle, that should be about three or four floors above us."

"Yeah, but I'm getting a  little curious about why there are no guards or anything like that here."

"I know, it's weird. But just in case, here." He held out a brand new diamond sword. "I know it's not all that much, seeing as I got the diamonds from some villagers who wanted to trade for grass, but you''ll probably need this more than I do."

You took the shiny, blue sword, and placed your hand on the leather covered handle. "Are you sure you want me to use this? I mean, it's in perfect condition, why give it to me?"

"I wanted you to use this, because I think it will make you safer, just in case something bad happens." You felt your cheeks getting warm as he looked toward the floor blushing, sort of in a more embarrassed way.

You smiled. "Alright then, let's go!" He looked up smiling, and you both ran down the dark hallways to save your friends in time.
