***Niall's P.O.V.***

Navaeh and I fell back against the bed with me panting heavily while Navaeh giggled breathlessly every now and then before regaining her breath and snuggling into my side. The sheets of the guest bed covered our naked and somewhat sweaty bodies as I wrapped an arm around her and let it rest on the small bump at her stomach. "Fuck," I huffed out between deep breaths, "I love you so damn much."

She pressed a kiss to the skin of my chest, looking up at me through her lashes when she replied, "Good, because I love you too." The wide smile on my lips was something I wasn't bothering to try and hide because everything was perfect. I had my fiancée right next to me, curled into my side comfortably, and I could feel the swell of her bare stomach where the baby bump was starting to show. I ran my thumb back and forth against the soft skin, feeling the rise and fall of her stomach whenever she breathed.

There were a few moments of silence between us after that; the air was filled with the evening out of our breaths. Navaeh tucked her head into the space between my chin and chest while she placed idle kisses on my exposed skin every now and then. Her nose nudged up against my neck lovingly, and I was in paradise. "I was thinking..." I trailed off with the words because I wasn't sure if she had fallen asleep or not within the time that it had taken for me to speak.

"Oh no," she joked with a giggle that assured me that she definitely was awake.

I laughed, the sound shaking my chest as she nudged my neck once again, "Oh hush." She shook her head before placing a kiss to my neck and giggling when I shuddered at the contact. "I was thinking about the twins' nursery; what are we going to do? Do you think we should put it in the guest room or just put two cribs in our room? What color should it be?"

"Niall, we've got some time to think about all of that," Navaeh sighed, her hand going to cover the hand of mine that was on her stomach.

I nodded, head lulling back against the pillow, "I know, but it'd be nice to have a plan, right? I mean, fuck, two babies: that's twice the preparation."

She lifted her head and rested her chin on my chest, looking up at me with a cocked brow and it was as if I could already hear her question. "Have you been thinking about this a lot?" she wondered, earning a small nod from me. It really wasn't like I had much of a choice; these days, Navaeh and the babies were the only things on my mind even in the most hectic moment. I was going to be a dad, and I was slightly terrified because of the responsibility that that entailed, but I was also over the moon because it was Navaeh and I and these beautiful babies that hadn't even arrived yet. There was just so much to look forward to. "Well, what do you think we should do for the nursery?" she inquired, turning the question onto me and watching intently as my brows furrowed and I pushed out a large puff of air.

"Green walls?" It was more of an open ended suggestion than a set idea, "Not dark green, but light green. That way we don't have to worry about if they're either boys or girls or one of each. It'll be fitting either way. Plus, some baby website said that it was calming and nurturing."

Both of her brows rose at that, her amusement plain to see before she giggled and let her head fall back onto my chest comfortably. "Look at you, doing your research like a good daddy," she jested, poking the spot on my side that she knew would make me squirm.

"And our room is nice, but I want to keep it as space for just me and you," I went on once she had settled. She hummed at that, rubbing her thumb over the skin of my hand that was still stationed on the small bulge of her stomach.

When she spoke up I listened attentively, "I don't like the idea of having to go all of the way out of the room and then down the hall to the nursery though."
