***Niall's P.O.V.***
There's a certain electric feeling in the air that comes along with weddings; Harry and Elizabeth's was still a week away and I was beyond excited for it. Navaeh was bouncing around with the elation of it as well, a smile sitting on her face at any time of the day. She'd make a little comment about how close it was every now and then and I would be gushing along with her. There was also something about it that was making her... confident; I had noticed the change earlier in the month and was definitely a little surprised. She just had this really gutsy and confident air about her that was quite frankly intoxicating.
She had been working on her project for her next exhibit throughout the whole titillating month. Apparently the class was focusing on the human figure, and she had me as the focus of the project which was flattering. I'd sit there for about an hour or two each day as she concentrated on getting proportions and stature as close to actuality as she could. I didn't get a chance to look at the finished project before she had turned it in since she had put the last touches on it in class, but I knew that I would see it at the exhibit. There was no doubt in my mind that it would look amazing.
I had been hanging out with the boys that day, lounging around on Liam's couch as the others were sprawled out around the living room as well. Our conversation was centered on the upcoming wedding. Zayn had managed to join us, but things were light unlike the last time we had all been together (he and Louis had both been a little pissy that day, though). Laughter filled the room very often, and Elizabeth came by about halfway through and was forced to stay when Harry pulled her onto his lap and refused to let her get up.
"We saw the pictures of you and Navaeh a few weeks ago," Elizabeth spoke up with a little smile on her lips, "You never said anything about you guys being together now?"
My brows furrowed, and I looked around to see that everyone was looking at me with accusing expressions. It wasn't that Navaeh didn't want me to tell them; she had made it clear that she didn't want me to feel like I had to keep things from the boys. "I honestly thought that I mentioned it," I huffed, trying to search through my mind to see if I really had neglected to mention it.
"It's a big deal, yeah? When did it happen?" Harry wondered, tightening his grip around his fiancée as if they weren't already close enough. I could only imagine how clingy he would be once they were married to each other.
I took a sip from my water bottle; Liam had offered me beer but Navaeh and I were planning on seeing a movie later on in the night so I declined. "Yeah," I answered after the sip, nodding along with the short word before continuing, "it was New Years; she kissed me and we kinda just talked everything through." There was a fond smile on my lips as I fiddled with the label on the bottle and spoke, "she told me that she loved me."
Elizabeth let a little 'aw' slip past her lips, making my cheeks light up with a dark blush that a hid with my hands quickly. The rest of the boys chuckled at my embarrassment before Louis spoke up, "We're happy for you, mate." My smile widened to an impossible point; I was happy to have their support.
