A Smile is Warmer than a Fire

The blizzard felt like nothing, Sans' jacket was incredible! Sans and you had been walking through the soft blanket of snow for about 10 minutes in silence, though you would catch him staring at you every so often, which made him blush softly and chuckle to himself. After a brief moment, he turned to you.

'Hey kid,' you looked at him, giving him your full attention, 'Y'know, I've heard that skeletons and you humans are somehow related. Is that true?' You smiled

'Yeah, in a way.' Sans' eyesockets grew wide in shock. You laughed 'It's true, here feel' you offered Sans your hand. He took your hand and slightly squeezed your hand, his smile got wider.

'Woah! That's weird but also really cool. Gosh,' he gave you a wicked smile, 'I'm spooked to the BONE.' You could help but laugh. It was a terrible pun but you couldn't help yourself, you are a sucker for puns. You decide to play along.

'Yeah, I bet it sent chills down your SPINE.' You place your hands on your hips victoriously, Sans chuckled and gave a devilish look.

'Everytime I hear a skeleton joke I feel it in my bones.' You giggled.

'Man, these jokes aren't even that humerus.' You and Sans laugh at your pun, but Sans is not going down that easily.

'I don't know if I should put a little more BACKBONE into these jokes, but then again it is TIBIA expected that I'll get lazy and not try as hard to make a skele-TON of them,' by now you were laughing uncontrollably, '...dang...I'm such a BONEHEAD.' You and Sans couldn't stop laughing, it was a nice moment between you two. You looked up from your fit of giggles and saw Sans smiling at you, it felt like something clicked, something...sparked between you two. Sans started blushing his blue blush, he was about to say something until he was cut off by another distant shreek of a voice.

'HUMAN! THERE YOU ARE!' You looked ahead and saw Papyrus, waving his arms to grab your attention. 'HUMAN...AND SANS? SANS!! GET OVER HERE!' Sans looked at you and shrugged, walking over to his brother. Papyrus and Sans seemed to have a quick chat before turning to you. 'HUMAN, IN ORDER TO STOP YOU...MY BROTHER AND I HAVE CREATED SOME PUZZLES! I THINK YOU WILL FIND THIS ONE...QUITE SHOCKING!!!' Sans stifled a giggle, Papyrus continued. 'FOR YOU SEE, THIS IS THE INVISIBLE...ELECTRICITY MAZE!! WHEN YOU TOUCH THE WALLS OF THIS MAZE, THIS ORB,' He held up an aqua coloured orb in his glove, 'WILL ADMINISTER A HEARTY ZAP! SOUND LIKE FUN??? BECAUSE! THE AMOUNT OF FUN YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE, IS ACTUALLY RATHER SMALL I THINK.' You smiled, but the sound of Papyrus' puzzle worried you. How will you manage to go through without being shocked? It IS an invisible electric maze after all. He continued, 'OK, YOU CAN GO AHEAD NOW.' Sans looked relaxed whereas you were terrified. Taking a risk, you stepped forward and touched the maze

nothing happened, but you did hear a shreek from Papyrus, you turned to see him being electrocuted. Papyrus flew into another rage. 'SANS!!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!' Sans smiled and shrugged, obviously knowing that was going to happen 'That's why he was so relaxed' you thought to yourself.

'I think the human has to hold the orb.' Papyrus smiled.

'OH, OKAY.' Papyrus worked his way around the maze while leaving footprints from his boots, giving the solution. 'HOLD THIS PLEASE.' He said, tossing the orb at you as he rushed back to his spot next to Sans. The orb landed softly on your head. 'OKAY, TRY NOW!' You chuckled as you followed Papyrus' footprints out of the maze. 'INCREDIBLE!! YOU SLIPPERY SNAIL!! YOU SOLVED IT SO EASILY...TOO EASILY! HOWEVER!! THE NEXT PUZZLE WILL NOT BE EASY! IT IS DESIGNED BY MY BROTHER, SANS!' Sans chuckled and waved at you, giving you a wink. You blushed slightly, 'YOU WILL SURELY BE CONFOUNDED! I KNOW I AM!' And once again, he cackled off 'NYEH HEH HEH HEH HEH!!'.
