It didn't take long to reach Sans' house and when you reached it, you were in awe. It was pretty much like one the dream houses you've always wanted. It has Christmas lights stringed around the house, it wasn't too big yet it wasn't too small. Sans saw you admiring the house and patted you on the shoulder.

'Like it?' You turned to him and furiously nodded, he chuckled.

'Thanks, Papyrus and I built it from scratch so that's a big compliment...' He seemed to mumble something else. It almost sounded like, 'especially coming from you.' You blushed softly as he fumbled around his jacket pockets for the house keys. He soon found them and unlocked the door, he held the door open for you and you stepped inside. The first thing you saw was the living room which included a beat up looking couch and a TV. You carefully walked around and examined everything with delight, Sans was overjoyed that you enjoyed every little bit of the house. He lead you around the house, showing you the kitchen (with an abnormally tall sink) and his bedroom.

'You can sleep here tonight.' He said, heading off to grab a fresh pillow and blanket for you. You whirled around,

'What? But this is YOUR bedroom! I can sleep on the couch.' He turned to face you, one of his tints was gone but the other was glowing pink. He replied, flustered,

'N-no! I insist! You are m-my guest.' You stared at his eye.

'Sans?' He was trembling.

'W-what?' You got closer to him and decided to have fun with this flustered Sans.

'Why is your eye pink?' You smiled, Sans on the otherhand was wide eyed and ran to a nearby mirror. He was furiously trying to cover up his eye, though not doing a very good job.

'Uhh, it's nothing.' You knew it wasn't nothing.

'Sans.' You said more sternly. He wasn't budging.

'Uhh, I'm tired...night!' He rushed out of the room and closed the door behind him, you were left in wonder and confusion. You quietly opened the door a crack and peered out to see if you could see Sans from downstairs. He was pacing around the living room, whispering to himself. 'C'mon Sans, pull it together.' 'Put it out.' 'You gotta tell 'er sooner or later.' You closed the door and leaned against the wall, tell her what? You decided to just sleep and think about it later.

There is no way you're going down without a fight.

You were woken up by a knock. Your eyes flickered open as you mumbled,

'Come in.' Sans peeked through the door and smiled.

'Hey kiddo,' he sat down next to you. 'how'd you sleep?' You sat up and rubbed your eyes, you wondered if you should ask about last night. You looked up at him, you saw only a tint of blue on his face.

'Fine, thanks for the bed.' He shrugged.

'Not much of a big deal, I usually fall asleep on the couch anyway so-' you cut him off.

'Why did your eye turn pink?' His eyesockets widened, the tint of blue was now spread all over his face. He started sweating.

'I-I um...' He was lost for words, but you weren't.

'And why were you pacing around the living room talking to yourself about "pulling it together"?' By now, he was a blueberry. You kept pressuring him until he finally cracked.

'It means I'm in love!' You stared at him, but he wouldn't meet your gaze, he was too busy trying to hide his face from your sight. You reached out for him.

'Sans...I-' You swear you saw a single tear run down Sans' face. You smiled as you cupped his cheek, you pulled his face towards yours, he had been crying. 'Sans.' His eye was burning pink, he looked at you with a look you'll never forget. He looked like a child looking up at his mother, but the child was a short skeleton and the mother was you. You felt compassion and your soul felt lighter as you stared softly at this skeleton who the more you saw, the more your love grew for him. 'Sans...do you...love me?' He nodded solemnly. He quietly asked in the smallest voice he could muster,

'D-do you l-love me (Y/N)?' You decided to give your answer in the form of a kiss.
