Tiffany felt sure she had had her keys when she left Homecoming. But somehow, they weren't in her pocket when her friend dropped her off at her house.
She was informed by her confused mother that no, she hadn't had a curfew on Homecoming night, not at midnight anyways, and that she was thinking of something else.
But Tiffany didn't know why else she would have thought she needed to leave so badly. She was having the best time dancing with that cute guy in the red tie.
On Monday, she had to get a ride to school from her mom, who was really upset with her for losing her keys. She walked in the front doors and saw a huge line in front of one of the tables, but ignored it, trying to find her friends.
There was a flyer on the wall that she hadn't seen before. Found: Keys, dropped at Homecoming, text the number below to claim.
Tiffany jumped in excitement. I bet those are my keys! She thought. I knew I lost them at Homecoming!
She quickly typed the number in her phone, and texted a quick, Hey,I think you have my keys, get back to me please. Then she hurried off toher locker, knowing her friends waited there sometimes.
