Stephanie spun around, aiming a swift, powerful kick at the punching bag. A loud smack sounded as her foot collided, and the bag shook violently. Without a momen'ts hesitation, she dropped her leg and aimed a fisted hand at it. Over and over, she fiercely attacked the bag full of sand, sweat beading on her forehead but still not tiring.
It was approximately ten minutes later when she decided to take a break. Brushing her dark brown hair from her face, she took a swig from her water bottle; her senses became aware of two pairs of footsteps making their way to the training room door. One set was light, agile- the other rather bulky, and easy to hear. Fastening her gloves back on, she went back to the bag as the door opened.
"And this is the training room. Everything you could ever need to practice your skills is here. We've done our best to make them indestructible, so you shouldn't have to worry about breaking anything." Agent Hill explained. Stephanie didn't even have to look up to know it was her. She tended to memorize the voices of people who could potentially cause her trouble.
"This room is very well equipped; nearly comparable to that in Asguard; well done!" A thickly accented voice boomed. Stephanie quirked a brow, and looked up from where she'd been watching the ground intently. Asguard? How can he possibly be from Asguard? It's the land of the gods... She thought, puzzled. Her head whipped in the direction of the voices, and was startled by what she saw. Next to Maria was an extremely tall, extremely buff man with long golden blonde hair and bright blue eyes that could charm any woman on the face of the planet. But that wasn't the part that got her; it was his clothing. Clad in what appeared to be silver body armor, complete with a bright red cape, the Danish-speaking recruit knew instantly he wasn't from around here.
It was then she decided to make herself as invisible as possible. He was familiar, which was something that scared her; surely she'd remember meeting someone with as big of a presence as he had?
Just when she started to move slowly into the shadows, Agent Hill called her out. "Oh, there you are. This is Stephanie Anne, also called Trillium. She's a new recruit to SHIELD."
"Pokkers!" She swore in Danish. This earned her a laugh from the muscular blonde. "This one has fire! Very entertaining coming from such a fair maiden!" He boomed, a dashing smile on his face.
He knows Danish?! Clearly he's not form around here...
Agent Hill nodded. "We've had troubles with her on frequent occasion. Now, on with the rest of the tour..."
Once they were out of earshot, Stephanie was able to let out the breath she'd been holding. That was... Interesting...

Stephanie sat out on the balcony of Stark Tower (or Avengers Tower depending on who your talked to), the night sky a dark blue with the exception of bright white starts shining through, as if someone had taken glitter and sprinkled it all over.
She enjoyed the quiet of the night, the darkness; it was calming, and let her relax after a hectic day. It also gave her time to reflect on the fact that a man she had only seen once was somehow extremely familiar. For the past hour she had been wracking her brain for any possible explanation. Blonde hair, blue eyes, red cape, metal armor, Asguard.... Biting her lip, she looked down at the city below, and suddenly it hit her. Gasping, she looked up at the skyline, her eyes wide. "Thor... Holy shit I met Thor!!" She explained. Her curly hair blew gently as the breeze picked up. "And of course, the first word he hears me say is 'damn'. Just my luck!" Resting her head in her hands, Stephanie's mind wandered from her anger at herself to how he looked exactly how her mother described him- tall, buff, and attractive as hell.
Letting a small smile grace her lips, she shook her head. "He definitely lives up to his title as a god."
"God, you say? I don't suppose you're talking about me?"
Biting her lip, she looked over her shoulder at Thor, and gave a sheepish grin. "I haven't met any other gods recently, so I think it's a safe bet." Stephanie replied. This earned her another booming laugh.
"So my initial thoughts are proven true. You have a fire in your soul that could rival that of the best warriors in Asguard! I admire that, fair maiden." He said as he approached, taking a seat on the ground beside her.
"Please, called me Stephanie; I'm no maiden." She replied quietly.
The god of thunder gave her a curious look. "You are awfully reserved; is something wrong?"
She shook her head, tucking her hair behind her ear. "No, I just never thought I'd ever meet a god, is all. Especially not you." Honestly was clear in her tone, but it was a quirky kind of honest humor that she used quite often.
Clearly, Thor thought that was funny, as a low rumble of laughter formed in his throat. "As gods, we try not to interfere, but when my brother went on a rampage, I didn't have a choice." Pausing, he turned to look at her. "So you've heard of me?"
"My mother used to tell me the stories; she came over from Denmark, and even though my father didn't believe, she did. And so did I." It was a weird bit of information, if you knew her; she was far from immature, and was serious- logical. Yet, here she was, believing in gods and mythical realms. Just another quirk.
"If you didn't before, you have no choice but to believe now." He pointed out. The recruit had heard that Thor was loud, obnoxious, dim-witted, and immature; he seemed none of these things when he was sitting beside her. This made her smile. "Yes, that is true."
Suddenly there was a click behind them, and the door could be heard sliding open. "They need you downstairs, Point Break." Tony said, leaning in the doorway with his signature smirk on his face. With a simple nod, Thor turned to Stephanie, and took her hand in his. "I hope this is not the last time we meet, Stephanie." Kissing her hand lightly, he grinned and stood, walking away with his cape trailing behind him.
Taking a deep breath, she sighed. "Mom would never believe this."
