Chapter 1

I looked at his lifeless body in that damn bed. If only he didn't get hit by that car.

I clench my hands to fists as tears start coming down my face. I punch the side of the bed where he wasn't laying.

I can't take it anymore! I want him to be okay. I need him to be okay.

If he leaves me, I will never forgive myself. It's my fault he's in this damn place anyway.

If I would have just came home earlier then he wouldn't have gone looking for me.

I look up to him and look at his face. "I swear I'll never leave you for as long as I live."

I stand up and kiss his forehead.

I sit in the chair next his bed. "Never." I say before I fall asleep.
