(( IM SO SORRY ))

Finola.

I was sat at the table with my mum, her sipping tea and reading the papers, while I was sipping coffee and reading smutty fanfiction.

"You haven't met David yet, have you?" She questioned, looking up at me through her glasses.

"No, why?" I really don't want to meet him. I took a sip of my coffee, and standing up to reach a better wifi signal.

"We'rekindaengagedandIknowyouhaven'ethimbutIreallylovehimandIhopeyouunderstandthat."

"Wait what? I only got like two words."

"We're kinda engaged and I know you haven't met him, but I really love him and I hope you understand that."

"WHAT?" I spat out, spraying coffee all across the room, over my phone and mum, causing her to scream in terror.

"Christ, woman!" My mum exclaimed, clutching her chest. "Do you want to give me a fucking heart attack? Honestly.." She sighed, shaking her head while taking a sip of tea.

How can she stay calm in a situation like this? She's getting married, I'm gonna have a new dad, and maybe siblings? Haha, nope. Gotta blast!

"Whatever, we can talk about it later," I furrowed my eyebrows. "I'm meeting him, though."

"Yeah." She smiled, getting up to make new tea as my saliva and coffee went into hers. I'm so disgusting, it's not even funny.

Since it was a Saturday, I put on new pyjamas, wrapped myself in blankets, got my laptop, and decided to hibernate in my room for the weekend. As usual. Just as I got comfortable with my laptop playing Phil Lester's new video, I heard my mom calling my name.

"What?" I groaned. "It's a Saturday, mom!"

"Emma called me, she told me to look at your phone," she shouted up to me. "I think she wants to meet up!" I checked my phone, which I had put on silent so it wouldn't interrupt my YouTube marathon. There was at least 6 texts and 3 calls from her. Seriously? I mean, I love Emma and I'd do anything for her, but I just got comfortable. I don't want to have to get up, shower, get dressed and go outside all for probably a coffee or something. But I will, since I'm such a great best friend.

"Okay, thanks!" I called out, hurriedly trying to detangle myself from the blankets and face planting in the process. I groaned, rolling over and slowly got up, cursing the blankets because they were 'evil and didn't deserve to be in my presence'.

Once I was standing straight and fully recovered, I quickly texted Emma back.

I wasn't even dressed by this point. I quickly slipped on a pair of black skinny jeans, a white t-shirt, a black hoodie and my white converse. I brushed out my hair and shoved it up into a ponytail. Since my hair reaches my shoulders, there's some parts layered that won't reach the ponytail so they're just hanging down, and it's so annoying. I didn't care though, I was in a rush. I sprayed deodorant on, since I didn't have time for a shower and ran out the door to be greeted by Emma waiting there already.
