Chapter 1

"I caught you. Again!" Mom screamed at me. She never was like this. She was the sweet mom that would do anything for you. She was the kind of mom who would bring you cookies when you can't sleep. She was the mom who would skip work just because her daughters had a bad day. But now, she's the mom who works so hard in the morning, afternoon and evening that we barely see her. The mom who never loved her daughters and looked at them as if they were never her daughter.

She caught me. Again. Ugh! How I hated it when she always do. I was trying to sneak out to meet Brianna and Elliot in Target to do something stupid and probably would end us up sitting in the back of the police car. 

Brianna and Elliot are my best friend. They were half of the reason why I got more popular and popular in school. They were my best friends since Year 8 and now I'm Year 11, 17 years old, which means we were best friend for 3 years.

Let's say Elliot and I aren't really best friends.. We are FWB, known as Friends With Benifits. We first kissed when we were at a party in Year 10. We were playing a game of Truth or Dare. And people dared Elliot and I to go to an empty room and kiss for 5 minutes. We promised to each other that no matter what happened, we would stay best friends and we wouldn't have any feelings for each other.

But one day, in my house, he came and kissed me as soon as I opened the door. I was shocked, of course and pushed him back. He told me that he liked the kiss we had when we played that game and told me he wanted to do it again, but also told me that we could always stay friends. But friends with benifits. I agreed and I enjoyed it. Brianna never noticed, but whenever she made a joke about Elliot and I kissing, we laughed and started making a gross face. Elliot and I had always been Best Friends With Benifits. We never stopped.

"And you!" Mom pointed at Andrea, "Why would you let her sneak out without telling me." Now her face became more scarier, but Andy kept her straight face, not seeming to be scared.

"Well, she payed me 10 bucks, how could I resist?" She stared at her nails. Andy is my sister. She is two years younger than me, which makes her 15. She is just like me. Trouble maker, sassy, and a badass. We always cover up for each other when we wanted to sneak out. Sometimes we don't pay for each other, but today, I owned her some so I payed her 10 bucks. I love her and she loves me.

Mom scoffed at me, annoyed. "Stop wasting your money on some silly stuffs, Brooklyn. And save up for your college." She shook her head at Andy and I and headed upstairs.

Andy and I were silent for a couple of minutes, but then I heard her chuckle. I looked at her and started laughing. And that's the story on how Andy and I were laughing our ass off at midnight.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

I groaned out loud. Who the fuck would call me? Ugh! I looked at my nightstand table and took my phone.

Ring. Ring. Ri-

"What?!" I yelled at my phone, without looking at the name of person who is calling me.

"Geez, calm your tits woman." He said. I sighed. What does he want at 3 am in the morning?

"What made you call me at this time, Elliot." I asked, sounding annoyed. He knows that I hate waking up at a really early time.

"Where were you? Brin and I were waiting for you the whole time." Now, he was the one who is annoyed. He knows that I know that he hates it when I didn't come when I said I would.

"I was kissing some random guy at the park." I lied.

"What!? No you didn't! Don't lie to me, Brooks! What's his name? Who is he? Wait, a random guy? You can't kiss a rando-" he ranted. I knew he would be jealous. I smirked.

"Geez, Calm your tits man." I chuckled at my respond. "I was joking. My mom caught me and stopped me."

"Oh, poor you." Elliot said, "And next time, don't joke about things like that ever again. You're mine."

I frowned. "You're my best friend, Elli. I'm not yours." Why is he acting like this?

"Yet." He whispered, he said it so low that I couldn't quite hear it, but I did. And that made me frown even more. "I know, I'm only your best friend and it would stay that way....." Now that made me smile. "Look, I got to go. See you tomorrow at school, Brooks."

"Okay, see you."

"I love you, Brooks."

"I love you too, El"
