Jason\\
As soon as Justin walked in the house, I leaped towards him and shoved him against the wall, knocking a few things over. "What the fuck, man?! How could you?"
Justin groaned in pain and glared at me before shoving me back. "Who the fuck are you talking to?" He yelled, "I already told you we didn't do nothing!"
"Then why were you over there at her house, Justin? Don't fucking lie to me!" I yelled. He must've done something with her to have spent the night. No guy goes to a girl's house and sleeps over without getting something from her. Everyone knows that. And if he even thought of lying to me, I'll shoot his fucking dick off.
"Jason, you really think I'd fuck your girl? Really? I thought you knew me. You know, even if I did it's none of your fucking business. You're with Diana now, remember? The bitch who's down to ride for anything?" Justin spat. "You need to stop being selfish and let Slim be happy for once. She gave up so much shit for you and lost a lot more shit because of you and you still can't leave her alone."
I let go of Justin's collar as he said that. Maybe he was right, Slim did do a lot for me and lose a lot because of me. But regardless that doesn't mean he can go spend the night at her house and do whatever he fucking wants with her.
I frowned at my cousin and balled my fists up tightly as he finished that fucking speech before I swung at him with all my might. My fist collided with his jaw and I was sure I heard a crack as he fell to the ground. Fuck him and his speech. I'm Jason McCann, bitch, and what I say goes.
"Suck my dick, bitch." I spat at him before kicking his stomach and storming off to my car and speeding off. I didn't want shit to do with him or Slim. I don't give a fuck if I was overreacting, Justin and Slim should've never been together in the first place whether or not they fucked.
I screamed at the top of my lungs and pounded my fists on the steering wheel before groaning frustratedly and running my fingers through my hair.
Obviously I couldn't go back to the house. Then I'd have to speak to the guys and Justin, but I also couldn't just drive around. Diana had work today and I wasn't talking to Slim. I stopped fucking with Cassie a long time ago and my friends list was pretty limited since I didn't like anybody.
I sighed and just went to the only other people I fucked with besides my gang and Diana.
I knocked roughly on the worn out wooden door and waited for the men to answer. It swung open to reveal a small girl around my age in an oversized t-shirt with bed head. She yawned and stepped aside. "Baby, Jason's here." She called out as she sauntered to the kitchen.
Her boyfriend came out and wrapped his arms around her. He smirked at me and held his hand out for me to dap him up. "Come in, McCann. What brings you here?" He asked.
I groaned and ran my hands through my hair. "Man, fuck everything. I don't know what to do anymore."
"Had a fight with the misses?" He asked, still very unaware that Slim and I broke up a long time ago. "What ever happened to her? I don't hear a lot about her anymore from you or the guys. She's doing alright?"
"Yeah, she's fine. I'm fine." I said vaguely.
He raised his eyebrows and rubbed the small stubble on his chin. "You don't seem too happy about talking about her, McCann. What ever happened?" He asked. "Are you two still together?"
I released a sharp breath before shaking my head. "Not even on speaking terms." I sighed.
"What about the baby?" He asked. Word got around pretty quickly when Slim had my child. Everybody in a 20 mile radius got word of my daughter's birth, which made it all the more dangerous of her being with Slim. Not only was Slim a target, but so was Katelyn now. She would be much safer in my care than Slim's, now seeing as I was the only one who could really fight and defend myself and my daughter.
Sure Slim could handle herself, but I couldn't trust her fighting for the life of Katelyn had I been absent. Currently, Katelyn was with Malcolm, who I ironically trusted the most out of all of them eve though he was by far the most immature of the group.
"The baby's fine." I spoke. "It's just... Fuck!" I groaned. "Things are kind of hectic, ya know what I mean?" I asked. He nodded and looked to Vanessa.
"Babygirl, get us some beers please." He asked. Vanessa nodded and sauntered away, swishing her plump bum with every step she took. Her boyfriend watched with a wide grin on his face. "Beautiful, isn't she? You won't believe how much loving I had to do to convince her how perfect she is." Must be nice. "She's been through so much shit over the years she's been with me that she was beginning to think that she was better off dead. I had to save her life a while back, she was so depressed."
"What you mean?" I asked. Vanessa was such a sweet girl, I'd never guessed that she was ever depressed or would even do what he's referring to.
"Well, she was practically raised by her aunt and uncle because her mother passed away when she gave birth to her. Her father kind of went into a severe depression and started beating the crap out of her when she was like ten. That's why her aunt and uncle finally got to adopt her.
"She hated her father, but she lost it when he died two years ago. She found any way possible to kill herself, and I stopped each and every one of them. Almost lost her one time, that was the last time she attempted it. Now she's fine again. Well, as fine as can be."
"I don't get why she'd ever try that. She knows you love her and wouldn't want that to happen to her. She knows people are depending on her to stay strong, so why would she try to commit suicide?" I asked.
He leaned forward and rubbed his hands together. "See, McCann, you and I are different. Unlike others, we just don't care about anybody and anything except the people we love. Other people, however, are built differently this us. See, there's only so much one can take before they reach their breaking point."
"Well she's better now right? She's fixed?"
He shook his head and pierced his lips together. "Humans are like glass. We break, but don't get fixed. And my darling, Vanessa, and your girl, Slim, why, they're like fine china. They're so delicate and fragile, yet very very pleasant to look at. And for some reason, the people who've dealt with them throughout the years they've been here have been very clumsy."
"What are you trying to tell me?" I asked.
"Jason, how many times can you drop glass until the shards are too small to be fixed?" I was asked. "The first time, maybe second time, you drop this one case, the shards are still big enough to be repaired, although you'll still see the cracks from the injury. But the third and fourth and thousandth time you drop this same vase, you'll realize how much more difficult it is to repair. And eventually, even the slightest gust of wind will tear it apart. And there will be nothing you or anybody can do to fix it."
Vanessa returned with the beers and had herself a cup of freshly brewed tea. She smiled at him and leaned against his chest.
"Jason, don't let what's happening between the two of you be that gust of wind."
He was fucking crazy, Austin Mahone was, but he was possibly one of the smartest people I've ever met.
