Before you could reply, you felt the weight thrown onto your arm immediately, nearly causing you to fall. Looking downward, you saw a tremendous amount of papers stacked on your arm. You blinked in confusion as the girl in front of you turned away in a swift, ready to walk off. She didn't even bothered explaining what the paper was for. In the midst of panic, you quickly called out to her.

"A-ah..! W-why did you passed them to me? Can't you..." Your voice shrunk as you grew nervous, "Can't you give them to...Asano-kun yourself?"

As you glanced up, you could see the agitation in the eyes of the girl. She shot you a piercing glare as she walked up to you threateningly, causing you to flinch in fear. Clearly, she didn't liked whatever you just said to her.

"What? Aren't you his girlfriend? Since you're so close to him, this wouldn't be a problem for you, would it?" Her voice twisted with disgust as she scowled at you with no mercy. The next thing you knew, she had already stomped off. You were left standing on the spot, slightly scared and extremely down. Even if you didn't want to admit it, she was correct.

You are Asano Gakushuu's girlfriend.

At least, that was what it was supposed to be. However, you didn't hate being known as his girlfriend, matter of fact it is your glory. You didn't hate Asano either, you really love him. What you really hate is the actual relationship between the two of you.

You were naturally born to be shy and quiet, you couldn't stand up for yourself and you feared judgements of other people. Because of that, you were always trying your best to please other people, doing and saying whatever they wanted to hear. Sure, you weren't bullied or attacked due to your lack of presence. However, you failed to find anyone to be close to, because everyone looked at you and turned away, thinking that you were too quiet to be approached. When you first entered to Kunugigaoka Junior High School, it was even worse. It was such an elite school, everyone spent their time cramping their studies, and they didn't want to talk or communicate. Once again, you found yourself alone in the shadows. That was, until you first met the school president, Asano Gakushuu.

He was a natural leader, he was motivating, he was encouraging, he was kind and patient to those who seek his help, he was popular with everyone, not to mention the most important, he was very intelligent. You've heard rumours about him putting up a façade, and that his personality was all fabricated. But looking around, the way this school treated 3-E, they were nowhere better either. You observed him a lot, and being his classmate, you got to see sides of him that other girls from other classes didn't get a chance to. It was such a small privilege, but you still treasured it like gold.

You still remembered that day like the back of your hand. The first time the two of you actually interacted properly with each other.

It was a self-study session, and as always, the five virtuosos were naturally the teachers of the class. You could see the excitement shining in so many girls' eyes, knowing that it was their chance to approach Asano and the flirtatious guy, Sakakibara Ren. Ren was attractive indeed, but you just can't pay any interest in him, furthermore, he just seemed like an all talk but no action guy. At first, you started off by doing your own work, busy writing away until you felt your focus slowly evaporating into thin air. You sighed softly, hoping no one nearby caught you, after all, they looked extremely focused in studying. Luckily you were off into the corner, meaning nobody will likely catch you. Your gaze wandered off as you glanced around the room, till your sight finally landed on the strawberry blonde. He was teaching one of the girls, from what you presumed, science.
