When In Japan

Japan Day 1.0

Kathryn's POV: Wala Pa Rin

I removed my sunglasses from my eyes as I heard that we are already approaching Japan. I looked at the window by my right and saw that the clouds are so fluffy and I couldn't resist taking a photo because it looks just like cotton candy! I should keep that in mind to get cotton candy if I could.

Anyway, nagising na si Trina sa tabi ko. We are seatmates. Mama and Papa on our side and Kuya Kev and Ate Shannen at the back.

"The clouds are super fluffy, Trina, look!!!"

I pulled her arm so that she can see. I sat at the window seat kasi.

"Kath, it is fluffy. I'm sure you're just remembering cotton candy." Trina told me. She's right though. Haha!

"Yah! I hope we see a cotton candy stall in Japan!"

And she laughed and I joined her too. It was amazing that I'm finally seated on this plane. Bound to have a vacation in Japan. It doesn't happen usually. It's just work, work, work for me. But that's okay, I love my job! And I love my KathCakes & KathNiels!

"Kath, anak, fix your stuff na. Malapit na mag-landing." Mama said.

She never fails to remind me of things I need to do. Anyway, I did just what she said and a few moments later, the pilot announced that we are already here!

I took my phone out as soon as I got out of the plane. I messaged DJ that we're here na already kasi for sure magagalit yun if I don't update him.

Touchdown! Kon'nichiwa! 😘

It's sad na di sabay yung flight namin but it's okay cause I've got my family and Trina with me. Besides, susunod rin naman sila DJ later. That's why for the mean time, I took shots of my surroundings as I scanned through the place.

"Hello, Japan. I know you're wonderful," I whispered to myself as we were escorted to retrieve our luggages. I am so ready for this adventure!

"Helloooooo Osaaaakaaaa!!!!!" me and Trina said in unison in front of my phone's camera. We are recording it for Snapchat kasi. I know, we're so weird. Pinagtitinginan kami ng people sa street but it's okay. Haha. I'm finally free from the eyes of the media. I can finally have fun with freedom!

"Is it cold?" Trina asked while holding her phone. Pang-Snapchat rin siguro 'to!

"It's so cold! My hands are freezing!" I said. Totoo. My hands are super cold I can barely feel them anymore. Hmm, I need someone's hands fitted right into mine. Or a hug. Or maybe both. But Bal's still in the Philippines so I have to go with my jacket. Just kidding! Hehe. I smiled to myself.

Anyway, we're roaming around the streets of Osaka right now. Sobrang ganda ng Japan! As in! I couldn't stop taking pictures and I couldn't stop sending them to DJ! Haha! Iniinggit ko lang siya cause he's so late, I hate it.

I kept on sending him messages until Mama told me na kakain na daw kami. Finally! I am so hungry. Trina and I walked side by side. Papa stayed in the hotel muna kasi he needs to check on Ate Kaye pa raw. Kuya Kev and Ate Shannen had their own plans. So Mama, Trina and I went to this ramen shop we searched for days ago. Planned namin 'to noh!

As soon as I saw the ramen, gosh! Sobrang natakam na ako! I wanted to try it agad but it's too hot. Share rin kami ni Mama kasi di ako masyadong nakakaubos ng pagkain. Haha. Baby niya pa rin daw ako kaya it's okay.

"Yummy! Oh my gosh!"

"It looks yummy!"

We recorded the food and posted it on our Snapchat accounts. And as soon as that's done, I ate na. Kakain pa raw kami ulit nila Mama later kasama sila Papa kaya for now, I divulged on my half ramen and I loved every single bit of it!

"Mama, ang sarap naman dito sa Japan! I love their ramen kanina!"

"Oh, anak, ingat sa pagkain baka tumaba nanaman cheeks mo." Mama teased me and laughed.

"Onti lang naman, Ma!" Nagpout ako pero nawala rin agad cause I saw the best thing ever!

You know what it is?!

A cotton candy store!

Oh my gosh! Literally nagsparkle eyes ko and hinatak ko sila Mama to the store talaga!

"Kathryn! Magdahan-dahan ka naman, anak!" Mama complained pero oh well, nandito na kami sa loob ng store! I can't wait to have my cotton candy in my hands!

I ordered this blue and pink combo. Ang cute kasi ng colors. Trina took photos of me holding it too! We took a lot of photos actually. I'll post sa IG later for my KathCakes and KathNiels to see! Parang ayaw ko na nga kainin cause it looks so perfect eh! Pero syempre, I couldn't resist. I ate it and now it's all in my stomach!

Cotton candy makes me sooooo happy! Kaya lang, wala pa rin si Bally.
