Zach
Alexis Brown. I know we had only known eachother for about two days, but it felt like I had seen her, I had known herbefore we met. Her name wasn't Valerie Green, it was like her life was a lie. Iwas mad, I was upset, but now wasn't the time to let my emotions get to me.Tyler said that she was the key and I felt like someone else had said thatbefore.
Tyler had pulled out that same stun gun and shot her close range. She dropped to the ground, almost lifelessly, and Tyler and his hunch men came towards me. I had fought two of them offbefore but now there were five. I didn't have a weapon either. There was nobutcher knife or trash can lid, I guess I just had to rely on my manual labor.
"Sorry about yourgirlfriend man. She was never much fun anyway." Tyler shrugged coming to me.
"You know, you're ideasounds pretty cliché. Stopping time and being the only people who walk theearth, just like your stereotypical bad guy. But I mean, won't that get kind oflonely?" Talking to stall, the best bet I had now.
"I'll survive," He said.
Alright, enough of thisfriendly conversation. I didn't have a weapon so my best bet was to use mymagic. Well that's never gonna get old. I had to be discreet saying the words.I didn't know exactly if there were magical powers that came along with itbut it was the only idea I had for now. I had to distract the guys in order for it to worksince I had the coughing and dying episode afterwards.
My bike had specialfeature where I could use the key's to start, and make it move about fifty feetwithout even touching it. I know it doesn't really make sense but, weird thingshad started happening as soon as I found out who I would be tutoring. So insome unknown way, Connor was an even bigger part of this than I thought.
The guys had startedtalking and two of them had bent down and started messing with Val-Alexis'shair. She may have lied to me, but that didn't mean I wanted anything bad tohappen to her. Based off what Tyler said, she hasn't had the best life either.I guess since they knew there wasn't much I could do they just stood therewaiting in case I tried to make a move.
I slowly reached my handinto my pocket and grasped my clicker. I had this bike for awhile now andmemorized every groove of the clicker. I moved my finger to the side and slowlypressed down on the button. I wanted the bike to be quiet but it's amotorcycle, I guess that isn't an option. The engine roared and all the guys jumped, looked at the bike, thenlooked at me. I gave them an innocent smile and shrugged.
"What is this, some kindof magic trick?" Tyler rolled his eyes.
"No, technology. Pretty magical all on it's on," Ipressed the button with full force and the bike turned.
The guys yelled and thebike kept moving forward going about twenty miles an hour. I didn't plan onhitting anyone so I directed the bike to the car closest to me. It slammedstraight in between the highlights and two guys jumped back. I turned it againand started to aim for Tyler. All of his friends, who must've been idiotsdidn't try to save him. They all ran straight to the car like it was theirchild who had fallen on the playground.
"Alesa Morenav." Thecoughs didn't last as long this time and I could breathe easier than normal.
"So you're going to killme?" Tyler yelled backing away from the motorcycle.
It had started to slowdown and Tyler was backing against a building that was behind a fence that hadnothing but air in between.
"I'm not going to killyou. But my friend karma might," I grinned.
