Michael

"That's fucking gross."

Harley looked at Michael's cup of frozen yogurt and crinkled her nose at the sight of it.

"It's delicious," he defended as he stood by her while she prepared her own yogurt.

She poured strawberry flavored yogurt in her cup and moved on to get some vanilla yogurt, "You cannot put Oreos on Watermelon flavored yogurt."

He smiled as she moved on to the toppings, "It's a free country, Har."

She added some blackberries and strawberries to her cup and shook her head, "That's disgusting."

He grabbed one of the cheesecake bits that she had put on her frozen treat and smiled cheekily as she glared at him.

The cashier grabbed their cups and weighed them.

Michael watched as the cashier watched Harley as she fiddled with the small bow on her wallet, "Hi, how are you?"

Harley looked up and furrowed her brows, "I'm fine."

He licked his lips, "You sure are."

Michael felt his heartbeat quicken and watched Harley for her expression.

Harley widened her eyes and looked down at her feet.

"What's your name?"

She looked at him and tilted her head, "Harley."

He hummed, "Cute. I'm Joseph."

She smiled, "Hello, Joseph. Nice to meet you."

He chuckled, "Same to you." He scratched the back of his neck, "So, um, would it be cool if I got your phone number?"

That was the last straw.

Michael cleared his throat and grabbed Harley's hand.

Joseph raised his brows, "Oh, is this your boyfriend?"

"Yeah," Michael said and looked at him expectantly, "Shouldn't you have told us our totals by now?"

"Sorry, man I didn't know," he apologized, "It's on me."

"Really?" Harley asked. "Thanks!"

Michael nodded at the boy and tugged Harley to the exit of the yogurt shop.

He sighed as they neared his car, "What the hell, Har?"

"What?"

He rolled his eyes and got in the car, and waited for Harley to get in.

But she stayed where he left her and crossed her arms.

He groaned and opened his door so that she could hear him, "Harley, get in the car."

"Not until you come out here and explain why you're mad."

He sat back in his seat and crossed his arms.

Oh, they constantly had fights like these. Both of them were stubborn, and hated giving in.

She shrugged and sat on the curb and began eating her yogurt, "I can stay here all day, Mancari."

He huffed, "So can I."

"Great," she said icily and took her phone out.

He sneered, "Perfect."

But, Harley always won.

He sighed and stepped out of his car, and sat next to the girl who drove him mad.
