Chapter 6: Jealousy

Marie's POV:

~~3 months later~~

A girl walked on the empty corridors, making her way to the principal's office. She quietly opened the door and the principal looked at her.

"Umm...hello, are you a new student?" the principal, Mrs. Johnson, said.

"Well if my own aunt can't recognize me, I must've changed a lot in 3 months." she said.

"Marie?!?"

She smirked.

"The one and only"

Mrs. Johnson quickly hugged her.

"Okay, you'll attend classes tomorrow, you could go home now."

"Nah. I'll just see what happened while I was gone. Oh by the way, who's the captain of the swimming team?"

"I don't remember. Could you go with me at the indoor pool? There's a competition going on."

"Bien, might as well see the captain."

We both went to the indoor pool, a lot of people were gathered there, watching the competition.

'Hm... Who's the captain...'

"................Ellyna Rodriguez and Brittany McFinn "

'Ellyna?!? She's in the swimming team? And where's Josh? Then suddenly, someone from the audience shouted...

" Go Ellyna!! "

At first I thought it was Josh, but it didn't sound like his voice.

'Maybe he got a deeper voice......  I missed a lot'

I followed the voice of that person and I was flabbergasted. It was Rafael, one of the so called 'populars'.

Being the curious creature that I am, I watched their every move. After the first round, I saw Rafael with Ellyna and I can't believe what I just saw....

Rafael was placing the towel on Ellyna's shoulder and assisted her in drinking water. Since when did he became close...as far as I know, Ellyna ignores the 'populars'. Now I became suspicious, what happened while I was gone? Oh no. What if she became a freakin' popular? Hmmm. I have to find out. Oh yeah, where in the fudgin' world is Josh?!?

Must. Find. That Idiot!

I scanned the crowd looking for a guy wearing a beanie and a red shirt. I saw the idiot looking at Ellyna.

'I think he likes her... josh and ellyna sittin' on a tree....'

My aunt placed her hand on my shoulder and shook her head.

"I remember now, she's gonna be the co-captain when you come back. You wanna practice with her?"

"Hm. Non. I prefer something else."

"Huh? You don't~"

I sauntered to them and poked Ellyna'sback.

"I want to compete with you. Q

Let's see who's better, fille" I arrogantly said.

"Uhhhh....Who are you? I've never seen you before."

"I just came back, I was a student here. Just compete with me and no more talkin'. Tomorrow, before classes start."

"What? But I have to do~"

"You're afraid to lose..."

"What?!? I just wanted to hang out with someone at that time."

"I don't care.
