Lying in bed while sighing, Marinette tried to forget the previous days events. The note Adrien that sent her came out of nowhere, and she would have never guessed he had felt that way. She felt tears well up in her eyes, but refused to let them fall. No, she thought, shaking her head and closing her eyes. I won't cry anymore. If that's how he feels, then fine. I have to stay strong. I am Ladybug, aren't I? I'll get through this.
Sitting up and checking her alarm clock, she sighed once more and clenched her fists, disappointed at herself that she woke up so late. She forced herself out of bed and put on her slippers, getting ready for school despite how late it was. Coming out of nowhere, Tikki flew up beside her and started to speak, but Marinette couldn't hear her. She didn't care anymore. If Adrien didn't love her, then everything else was pointless.
"Marinette! snap out of it! Huh? Ah!" Tikki yelled as Marinette slapped her away. "Marinette? What's wrong with you?"
Marinette turned towards Tikki with an expressionless face. She was mumbling something, but Tikki was too far to hear. Moving closer to her lips, Tikki covered her mouth and heard what she was saying.
"Worthless... Adrien... Ladybug... Khloe..." she mumbled, with a strained look on her face. She looked like she was fighting something, but what?
Then Tikki noticed her eyes. Her eyes, which were usually a beautiful, unique bright blue, where now emotionless, dark, and... purple?
"Marinette...?" said Tikki, her voice now a pitch higher, indicating she was scared. An evil laugh escaped Marinette's lips, and she grabbed Tikki with her fist.
"M-Marinette! L-let me go!" Tikki pounded her tiny hands on Marinette's fist that was increasingly getting tighter and tighter around her small body, squeezing the air out of her lungs. She knew something was wrong with Marinette and, for the first time in her life, Tikki was scared. Scared of Marinette. Scared for her life.
"Tikki," Marinette spoke in an uncanny voice, "spots on."
"N-no! Marinette! Noo!" Tikki yelled as she was sucked into the Miraculous. Tikki knew that this was the work of the evil Hawkmoth, who wanted Chat's and Ladybug's Miraculouses no matter what.
Did he find out that Marinette's Ladybug? Thought Tikki as she began to transform Marinette. No, it couldn't be... this must be the work of one of his Akumas! But, there's only one person who'd be after her! And that'd be...
Smirking from the shadows, a purple-haired witch revealed herself to Ladybug.
"Now, Ladybug...." she pointed her cellphone at her, and purple flashes began to go straight into Marinette's eyes. "Go and destroy Marinette! And bring me back Chat's Miraculous!"
Gasping from inside the earring, Tikki panicked and began to stir. That voice... I know it from somewhere...
"Serve me, minion! And when I'm finished with you, I will return your Miraculous to my dark master, Hawkmoth!" exclaimed the villain while laughing hysterically. "I will have Adrien all to myself! If my name isn't Jealousy~!"
"Oh, no!" Tikki gasped.
"As you wish, Jealousy," said Ladybug with a smirk on her face. With her eyes glowing a bright purple, she left her room and began to move towards Chat Noir.
Left inside her earring, deep inside the Miraculous, Tikki began to pray.
"Oh, Chat Noir!" she prayed, hoping her voice would travel to wherever he was. "Oh, please save our Marinette! And do it fast!"

Hey, guys! So very sorry for the late update! If you read the recent message I put out, I said that I was busy with school and studding for finals, so my week/weekend was/is really jam packed!
((Also, I had trouble spelling the word 'hysterically' and my computer corrected it to 'historically'. How can someone laugh historically? Was the laugh so epic it made history? Lol))
Anyways, I'll see you all later. Hope you enjoyed today's chapter!
Bye bye for now!
