The next day...

I got up early and showed. I slept with my makeup on as it was past 3 in the morning when Paul dropped me off at my hotel. I walked to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked horrible. My skin was pale, my mascara all over the place. And my hair was in knots.

C: Ooohhh, not a nice view.

I turned on the water in the shower and took off my pajama top and bottoms. An hour later I was dressed and on my way to Bridget's place. She invited me over for lunch. I guess she just wanted to know what happened last night in the boys' hotel room.

When the cab rolled up in her driveway she already waited for me at the door. I paid for the ride and got out.

B: Good morning! You slept good?

C: Hi, yes!

B: Where?

C: In my hotel bed. Jeez, Bridget!

B: I was just asking.

She took my hand and lead me inside. We went to her small kitchen where she already set the table.

B: It's good to see you happy. I assume you had a great time last night?

C: Look, Bri, yes! It was indeed great hanging out with these guys. But that's about it. We just hung out. Had a few drinks, joked around. Then their security guy dropped me off at my hotel and I went to sleep.

She started filling my plate with her delicious Shepherd's Pie.

B: So no one was flirting with you?

C: No! Besides, three of them already have girlfriends. Why would they flirt with me?

B: But there are still two single guys left!

I shook my head and took a mouthful of the pie. No, not even the single guys were flirting with me.

I wasn't complaining, it was just that I wasn't used to being ignored by guys.

B: When will you see them again?

I shrugged.

C: I don't know. I guess it was a one time thing.

B: So how's it going with the modeling?

C: Hopeless. Nobody wants to sign me.

B: Don't give up. We both know you got what it takes.

Just as she was about to take another mouthful of pie, her house phone rang.

C: It's alright. Go get it.

She walked over to the living room and picked up the phone. She hung up three minutes later but it took her another five to return to the kitchen.

B: Sorry it took so long. You know what? I got an idea while I was in there. Maybe what you need is to appear on tv or in a magazine. I mean, you're not new to this. You're something like a celebrity in the States. All the designers and bookers over here need to be made aware of this. Once they know who you are, they'll fight over you. Trust me!

C: And how am I going to appear on tv or in a magazine? It's not like I invented something?

B: What about One Direction?

C: What about them?

B: What if paparazzi accidentally snapped a picture of you with one of them?

C: Not going to happen! I just met them yesterday...

B: ...and they already invited you to hang out with them.

C: It was no big deal.

B: But think about it. You really need to get your name out there.
