            Dear Elina,

When I first met you I learned that you loved the sun.  I learned that the sun followed you everywhere, always making sure that someone or in this case, something, noticed you.

I  first thought that it was a beautiful thought. I thought it was something that would truly help you in feeling noticed.

Except that as I got to know you, I started to feel desperate.

I wanted to be your sun.

I wanted to be all of  the characters in the many books that you read.

I wanted to be your everything.

So, if you will let me, I want to tell you a story. The story of how I fell in love with you.

It basically all started the first time that you walked up those steps, behind Johnson public.

The sun hit you perfectly, as I expect it would. I mean your eyes shined, like literally shined. If I didn't know any better I would imagine that you had diamonds for eyes. Your hair just fell down your back, caressing every part of your body as the wind, swept it to one side and then to the other.

You had a book, pressed tightly against your chest. Both arms wrapped around it, as if it held the biggest secret of your life. You were looking down at the grass, that then transformed into pavement. Your face looked so soft and perfect that I wondered how you got it that way.

To me, you looked truly beautiful. I remember this so perfectly because I think the guys noticed that I was starring at you, walking this way because suddenly, I got a basket ball in my face. After they noticed what I was looking at, we stopped playing and all of us just moved out of the way, as if you were a celebrity and we were just nobodies. You noticed us as you walked by us and that was the first time, that I gave you that first nod. That was the time that Channing said his first "hey", Elliot his wink and Owen his first nod.

I would have said "hey" or even smiled, but honestly... I was too love struck as they would say, except that I didn't realize that what we had was love at first sight.

I know that you didn't because you had fallen for Channing, before you even noticed that I existed.

Every day after that first time, you showed up again, at that very same time at that very same place.

I found myself, falling even harder for you... so hard that I needed to tell someone.

So naturally I turned to my best friend.

"You like her ?" Channing had asked after I told him. I nodded my lip quivering at the nervousness.

"Yeah man. It's so strange though. Like I know nothing about her." I had explained. Channing looked at me and then all he did was place his hand on my shoulder and smiled.

"We'll help you in getting her alright ?" At that moment, I knew that I had the best, best friend in the world.

I really wanted to talk to you, but I found myself lacking courage, which for me was something that never happened. I mean, I didn't even need  courage to tell Morgan that I liked her way back when. So this was strange for me.

Anyways, after 6 months of us stepping aside to let us through and you showing us that perfect smile of yours, something happened that pretty much changed everything.
