I unpacked my stuff. My clothes were in a large cabinet in the back lounge, and I was just now unpacking my bedding and decorations. I put Polaroid pictures all over my bunk and I hung Christmas lights. Inside my bunk, there was a DVD player and a one person bed with a cup holder, which I thought came in handy whenever I was eating ice cream or I had Starbucks. There was in a small table in the back to put things on.
I smiled brightly at my finished bunk. It was covered in pictures and lights, and of course it had my two favorite pillows and bedding. I sighed happily and crawled into the bunk and opened my window. We were at a gas station filling up the bus before we started out for our long journey. I rolled onto my back inside my bunk and plugged my phone charger into the plug-in, and I charged up my phone. I slipped it into the nearby pocket and just stared at the ceiling.
Above me was a picture of Jacob and I that I took with my white Polaroid. We were laughing, smiling and giggling in front of the Dairy Queen we were at last night. I smiled brightly, then Ari called my name. I got up off my bunk and rushed over, unplugging my lights and shutting my curtains that covered my bunk. I slid back Ari's curtains, and inside was literally a mini tumblr room. It had lights everywhere, and a heart made out of her own Polaroid pictures. In her cup holder was a Starbucks coffee cup with water, and her bedding had funky designs on it.
"What do you think?" Ari asked as she fixed her Polaroid that was sitting on her mini table. I nodded slowly, staring in awe at her unique bunk. She smiled. "Let me see yours!" Ari said, pushing past me and into my bunk. I laughed and then peered down into Paige's bunk. It was vintage indie designed. It had lights that had small clear bulbs around them, and it had a big 'flag' type material in the back that had a white 'x' with a black background. It was really simple, but very comfortable looking.
"Awesome. I love it." I said to Paige. She smiled and slightly blushed, then I closed her curtains and began to unpack my favorite snacks into my very own cabinet in the kitchen. I put all my ice cream labeled 'Erica' in the fridge, and I made sure everything was in a clean manor. Right after I got done doing that, I made sure I had everything put away, then I plopped down on the couch with my iPad to play games.
We had been driving for an hour and everyone was finishing up cleaning and unpacking. I had my phone now charged and my iPad was charging as we headed down the road. Jacob came and sat next to me and began to go on musical.ly. "Going to post a musical.ly?" I questioned. Jacob shrugged. "It all depends if I can find a good song." Jacob sighed. I put my arm around him and pulled him close, then kissed him right on the cheek. He blushed then I stood and headed for the kitchen.
Later, I decided to give a tour bus tour. "Hey guys its Erica, and I am going to be giving you a tour bus tour! I am going to Mall of America with Jacob Sartorius, Ari and Caden Jones, Owen White, Paige Smith, Conner Bailey, and Jayce Jackson. "Erica shut up!" Ari yelled and I laughed, turning off my camera. She was turning up her speakers and playing 'My House' by Flo Rida on SoundCloud. I laughed and then she turned it all the way up and stepped out of her bunk, smiling.
"And you know where I live!" Ari sang. She swung her hips to the music in Nike Pro's and a t-shirt a fan had given her. She didn't have a ton of fans, so she valued every gift she was sent to her P.O. box. "And you know what we is!" I sang, nearly wearing the same outfit. "Baby welcome to my house!" Ari and I sang in unison. We swung out ponytails on our head in circles, laughing and falling all over the place. We were twerking and have fun, and eventually we fell on the floor, slurring our words and acting like crazy people.
Everyone joined us soon enough, and we were all enthralled with the music. We frisked around, throwing our hands in the air. We flung ourselves across the tour bus, this way and that. Therefore, we were wild people. Suddenly, the song was over and we all exhaled wistfully. "That was fun." Owen said laughing. I nodded in agreement, then I sauntered into the kitchen for some tasteful food to eat.
I was staring out the window listening to Spotify when I noticed we were traveling through a big city. I didn't know what city, but whatever city it was, it was dreadfully busy. After a few seconds of staring at passing people, we pulled into a large parking lot. I inclined my head and turned to Jacob, whom who was smiling and rubbing his hands back and forth.
"Time to meet some fans." Jacob said smirking. I gasped and threw my hands over my mouth excitedly, and crawled up to the front door. I fixed my hair quick, then peeked out the window of the door, and there they were. Fans, hundreds! I slowly opened the door as security kept the fans back, and I beamed blazingly at the overwhelming amount of fans. I casually made my way out of the bus and the crowd went while. I waved delicately and waited for the rest of my crew come out of the bus.
We walked out to where the fans could meet us, which was just a meager parking space. I laughed and put my hands on my knees, smiling and blushing. I was so ecstatic to meet all my fans, the people who loved me so much! The first girl came out from behind the line and hugged me first, announcing that she had been up since 3 AM waiting for us here in the parking lot. She explained that she lived in the apartments down the street and that she snuck out. I can't believe someone who loves me that much would do that!
We took group pictures, and I got out my Polaroid from the bus and took a picture with all the fans in the background, and I got part of the bus too. I took selfies and signed arms, phone cases, hands, paper, and picture edits they had made of me. I started crying and hugging all my lovely fans, feeling loved and wanted. This was truly amazing, was it real, or was it just some stupid dream?
It wasn't, because Ari slapped me because I went blank and a fan was stuck in my tight hug. I apologized and wiped a tear away from my face. This was amazing, this is where I belonged, with my lovely social media family. I couldn't ask for anything more than this.
